My Contrast

Her feral eyes greet, my anguishing touch
A rush beneath, where lovers meet.

I dare to sleep, or she will go
It's greed, I know, though her I'll keep.
My eyes wide shut; I fight the nod
For if I do, then I may wake
And begone from, this whispering dream
Then her, from me; my God to take.

I kill her soft, for this to last
As she clasps upon, my hammering loft.
I break apart, her ravenous seam
Her screams; a drug, to which I'm a feign.
My will to please, as hers to give
I cherish this dream, as I'm not asleep.

Though I fall into, my nightmares deep
A place of chaos, it's all I know.
A murder of crows, guide me through
A graveyard of tombs, row upon row.
Colourless, dim and full shade
The sound of pain; it's only hymn.

I call her name, whilst fighting shadows
They succumb into, the ground below.
It is raining acid, that burns so cold
Though my body, dares to know.

Upon a cliff, I gaze The Man
His charcoal cloak, for it's the grim.
I climb to him, though he walks away
High held, my chin; it's not today.

Awoken by, the smell of want
It daunts me, that dreams come and go.
I pull the sheets, to uncover skin
Broken by sin, in last nights song.

I found her, as she lays here with me.
I pull her close, with my arms around her.
Her tame eyes greet, my calming touch.
We touch beneath, where lovers meet.
