Time has passed since Thedore's dark-haired twin left with the mischievous original, Kol Mikaelson. Normally the mature Dragon King would be worried over the absence of one of his other halves but his instincts were calm and steady. Theodore felt assured of his safety considering Edgar would never let their mate be in danger intentionally.

"Edgar, how is everything going?" Theodore sent the mind link to his brother who didn't waste a moment in answering back. The brunette could have called him with his cell phone but with the possibility of someone hearing their conversation, it was more of a gamble than Theodore wanted to risk. And their mind-link was private to each other and the only ones who could possibly have access to it were their mates.

"Everything is fine, Theo. Are you stressing over things again?" Edgar replied with a hint of worry in his tone. The dark-haired male knew well of his brother's habits of overthinking and stressing over the worst possibilities he comes up with. It's especially worse when Edgar wasn't there to reassure him of his endless worries.

Theodore scoffed in response. "When have you know me not to stress out? Edgar, I cannot tell you how fearful I am and nothing is comforting me at the moment but that is beside the point." he heaved a heavy sigh, welcoming the need to rip out his hair in built-up frustration but he decided against it. He shifted around his bed in discomfort. "How are things going with Kol? Have you told him anything yet?" The eldest Dragon King sought out answers from his twin. Of course, if his brother volunteered to go with Kol to who knows where then it would only make sense for him to slowly inform him of their situation.

A short chuckle echoed in Theodore's mind just before he heard Edgar's voice. "Kol is fine if that's what you are worried about. You need to relax, Theo. I have slowly started to teach him more about dragons and warlocks from our world and he is adjusting well so far. At the moment, I'm working on getting him to understand the concept of mates." Edgar could essentially feel the nervousness in their twin bond. The slight awareness of guilt subtly mixed in before he could feel his twin calm down immensely. "By the way, I might have slightly let it slip that he's my mate on accident when we were talking about it but that's not important, right? How's the process going with Klaus?" Edgar hurryingly rushed out and ended it off with a nervous chuckle. Oh he knew, his brother's temper is one that shouldn't be tampered with.

The quietness made Edgar nervous to utter a single word. A few minutes later, a hysterical laugh filled the space. "Edgar that is a funny joke. I needed that but even I know you're not that dense to let something important like that slip, right?" His laughter calmed down to chuckles. Theodore received no response from his twin which made his light smile turn to a frown. "Edgar please tell me you're not that thick-headed to tell one of our mates before they have adjusted to our presence about the bond?" Once again Edgar's silence was his response resulting in his anger rising as he clenched his fists in aggravation, the iris of his eyes swirling into a blazing white color.
