The dark haired dragon king sighed as he shoved his hands in his pockets. Edgar was currently concealing his presence as he was speeding his way to survey mystic falls out of boredom. The town was dull and boring but the clear blue sky's and clouds that invaded his senses were calming. It reminded him of his home yet was too different at the same time.
It was painless obvious Rebekah that did not care for the idle consequences and Edgar couldn't quite blame her for her actions especially with the idea her brother was thought to be dead when he was not. If the situation was more stable and ideal, he would have told her otherwise but it was far too late and they needed her to believe Klaus Mikaelson was dead in order to make it more believable. Even if they knew it would cause their friend pain, it was essential to protect their stubborn mate Niklaus.
Edgar sighed tiredly, running his fingers through his messy black hair. The slightly heavy wind blowing his face yet he found it to be very serene. There was far too much Edgar knew needed to be repaired but what's required is cooperation from a certain willful hybrid who seemed to enjoy dodging the mate bond as if it could disappear by the lack of acknowledgment. Not only was their mate's mistrust becoming more and more of an issue as days go one, Edgar started to think about a certain male he wanted out of his life but always seem to have a place in his mind and heart. It both pained and relived him to think of said male and the times that were less complicated. And days less bloody. Where trust hadn't been broken and lies hadn't diminished Edgar's affection.
"Are you thinking about him again?" Edgar heard his twin' heard rang in his mind and wasn't the slightest bit startled. He was used to it by now and there was just no point in being taken back with the one person who can freely enter and read his mind. "You can't continue to be mad at him Edgar. He didn't have a choice." Theodore reasoned with his unreasonable twin once more trying to get Edgar to reconcile with the father of his children and attempt to be civil instead of cruel.
Edgar rolled his eyes at his twin's words, his eyes glowing in displeasure. "You're always the peace maker aren't you, Theodore?" He unintentionally spat out toward his twin with annoyance laced in his tone. Edgar knew well of how Theodore was the level headed one of the two of them and was always one to seek peace but than again was someone who would not hesitate to rage war when certain it was necessary. "Having the perfect relationship made you forget the reality most of us face huh?" Edgar commented and through their twin bond felt the hurt he was causing his twin and felt guilty immediately. "I'm sorry, Theodore. I shouldn't take my anger out on you. You don't deserve it." Edgar didn't know what came over him to snap at his twin like that as if there was this inner envious vendetta against his brother.
"Edgar. I don't have the perfect relationship." Theodore shook his head at his twin, the one person he longed to love was one he was forced forbidden to. His expression remained blank as he awkwardly passed Klaus to enter his kitchen, the hybrid scattering away from him as if he was the plague. Theodore resisted the urge to roll his eyes. "I don't understand why you think I do but this anger you hold over the father of your children isn't going to end well. I know you've been avoiding talking about this especially with what we are dealing with." Theodore said through their mind link. He knew well of the damaged relationship between his brother and his brother in Law. "But you need to tell Chin-Mae the truth you've kept hidden. It's not fair to him." Theodore pleaded with Edgar but he knew it was futile, Edgar was far too angry and far too petty to be the bigger person.
