Edgar released a tired sigh and tiredly tugged on his jacket with a feeling of anxiousness growing at the pit of his stomach. His outfit consisted of dark blue jeans and a plain light green shirt. Edgar's hair was messy due to his lack of care for it yet to someone else he looked decent.

A couple of days had passed since he had arrived in Mystic Falls to find his twin having an emotional breakdown. The Dragon Kings had decided it would be best to give some space which consisted of a couple of days before Edgar had ultimately decided that was enough time. Too much time wouldn't be best and this situation wasn't exactly anything that could be ignored just because one didn't want to acknowledge it for what it was. After experiencing that whirlwind of emotions from Theodore's side, Edgar found himself very pissed off and a couple of days helped manage that anger. And it most likely wouldn't have been great to carry around while talking with Klaus when he was meant to be convincing and calm.

He could hear the distant chatter of his twin talking with Henrik in his room. The conversation seemed to go in different directions before Henrik rambling on about their adopted children and how they have been since their disappearances. From what Edgar could hear, they were not thrilled at not being able to see their fathers but were dealing with it any ways. Edgar smiled at the thought they missed them as much as him and his twin did.

At how long he has known Henrik, he could recognize his voice practically even when he was worlds away. It felt like time has surely flown past him when he first was made known of Henrik's presence in the empty but that was a story for another time.

The dark-haired male smiled at his twin's voice trying to soothe Henrik who was worried about his mental state and was threatening Klaus. Of course, Edgar should have been concerned with someone threatening their stubborn mate but he knew Henrik, despite not encountering his siblings for a very long period of time, still very much cared for all of them and would soon be able to meet them. But poor Henrik was aware of his sibling's blood history and was patient enough to wait for them to come around before making it known about his supposed death.

"Theodore! I'm about to head out to meet with you know who. Tell Henrik that I said hi and for him to tell his mates to do that shit tone of paperwork we have been missing because we definitely won't be doing it at the moment." Edgar purposefully added the last part before he could hear the sound of Theodore's laugher and Henrik complaints of their laziness but didn't say he wouldn't do otherwise. These past days were particularly harder for Theodore and it just felt nice to hear him laugh.

"Be careful, Edgar. No matter how angry you might be, do not direct that at our mate. Especially as we haven't given him any of his memories yet. So at the moment he really does have no real reason to trust either of us." Theodore idly reminded him as he stepped outside of their house and began walking further and further away from their somewhat damaged house. Those memories they had with Klaus were exceptionally important as they not only revealed their first meeting with their mate or that Edgar and Theodore were one of the reasons how Klaus knew about the curse but Klaus's discovery of someone he and his siblings were made to think were dead because of Esther Mikaelson's petty secret.
