"You should change soon, Theo. The blood is starting to dry and stick onto your hands," Edgar said, scrunching his face in disgust as they enter their temporary home. "And it reeks. It's making my nose burn."

The elder twin stared at him as if he could not believe the words that left his mouth. "I know you clueless monkey. I can feel it." Theodore unintentionally snapped at his brother and regretted it soon after. "I'm sorry for snapping at you. I'm just a little irritated,"

Edgar understood his brother's irritation and did not feel mad at him for snapping. "It's alright, Theo. Just go change so we can talk about what to do next," His brother nodded and headed up the wooden stairs to the restroom, and entered it before locking the door behind him.

The dark-haired Dragon King sighed tiredly, laying down on the couch. He ran his fingers through his dark black hair as he let out a puff of air. The exhaustion washed off the male like the ocean on the sandy shore. He tried his best not to let his eyes drop and fall asleep before his brother came back.

As he waited for his brother, his thoughts wandered to a certain pair of Mikaelsons. Subconsciously, a smile appeared on Edgar's face at the thought of them before a frown tugged on his lips as thoughts of doubt filled his mind. He and his brother were both well informed of Kol and Klaus's past of murder, and along with other things, but they still wanted to get to know the brothers and knew the task was easier said than done.

Edgar was so deep in thought that he didn't realize Theodore was standing over his form with an expression of concern until his twin snapped his fingers in front of his face.

"Edgar," he called out once more. Edgar made eye contact with him, showing him he was listening. "I can tell that you were thinking about them, weren't you?" Edgar knew he couldn't hide anything from Theodore and nodded his head stiffly.

"Edgar I hope you realize how difficult both of them are and that it will not be easy trying to get close to them especially once they find out who we are, what we are, and how that involves them," Theodore summarized as he took the empty spot next on the couch once Edgar sat up.

Edgar gave him a look that said enough itself. "No, I am completely unaware that two dangerous and traumatized originals would be difficult to get close to so thank you so much for informing me of this newfound information," Edgar said dryly in a sarcastic tone that made Theodore's eye twitch in annoyance.

"The sarcasm is unnecessary, idiot. " The other Dragon King countered as he rolled his eyes. "Anyways, it will be a challenge for us to get them to even give us a chance but that means we will just have to patient and not let our tempers get the better of us. Especially you, Edgar." Theodore expressed his thoughts with ease as if he didn't imply anything about a certain someone next to him.
