After relaxing for a bit Ash took me out into the backyard, "so what are we doing?" I asked, looking around, but not seeing anything of interest, "I'm going to teach you some self defence," she said, walking towards the center of the yard, "um why?" I questioned, not following her, "because I won't always be able to come to rescue you if we ever get ambushed, I don't want you to die, so come on!" she said, getting into a basic stance, as I reluctantly do the same.
"Don't be nervous, people like Colleen can sense that, and use it against you," Ash commented, moving in on me, tripping me one swift move.
"....oww, how can I not be nervous!" I whined, getting up slowly from the ground, "that's why I'm training you, I want you to be confident in your skills," she said, readying herself again, the look in her eyes tells me that we're going to be doing this till I drop.
