Gediz

Fire, smoke, sirens. Much, much pain. There was only confusion.
He made a futile attempt to move his legs, but they did not respond.
He only got to move his fingers, a little, but his arm and hands remained motionless. His head was pressed against the steering wheel, the air bag containing his head, almost drowning him..He was having trouble breathing.
He could hear the ambulance when he arrived, and saw how two people got to him. He knew they were talking to him, but he couldn't answer anything.
He felt in a rare limbo of feeling and not feeling.
When they lifted him up, he felt like his lungs were going to burst, he had never felt his chest so heavy. They put something in his mouth and took his pulse. He could see the nurse take his wrist.
He saw the white door of the ambulance close, and then he saw it open again.

Nare. She walked quickly and sat next to him. Her eyes were flushed, her face very pale, and her hands grabbed her head over and over, he knew that gesture very well. He had seen it many times, when he mentioned something negative or that she did not want to accept, he wondered what she did not want to accept to be in that state. * Maybe her, like me, knows what will happen *

He thought of all the ones he would abandon if he ceased to exist in that ambulance.
What would his mother do without him, or Müge? How could he leave the womens of his life alone, without anyone else?
He thought of Sancar, his brother. He couldn't leave him either. * How could that boy survive everything without me? Who would advise him or hit him when he needed it? *, he found himself meditating. No one messed with Sancar, only him.

Nare was still at his side.
His chest was beginning to bother him more and the pain was accentuated.
Nare was small, but now she seemed even more, like a frightened dove. And though she feigned composure, He knew that she was not very well.
She took his hand, and he saw her watery eyes. Gediz spluttered something, but couldn't make a clear sound. Perhaps the blow to his head was showing its effects.

And to Gediz it seemed such a cruel joke, not being able to feel anything and wanting to feel everything.

It wasn't fair to leave without hearing Melek's laughter while played. He wanted to go to school with her, even if it was only one day, that she take his hand on the way,*So he could know what it felt like to be a father, just a moment *, he thought. He did not want to leave her. How could he go?
Sancar had to worry about his son, and he wouldn't be with Melek as much. Nare was still destroyed by it. And though she trusted her strength, he knew she couldn't do it alone. Not now.
Who would take care of them if he left?
He watched her, as if it were the last time he did. Her brown hair, the long lashes that wrapped around the most beautiful eyes he had ever seen. His eyes met hers.

-I'm here, I'm here, I'm not going to leave. Don't talk, I'm staying here.-She said in a raspy voice.

* I can't go, I can't. She needs me. I need her * His head was spinning over and over.

His eyes closed when his entire body collapsed.

Akin

No one was outside. He looked at the window again and again but saw no one. Guven had gotten a good spot and hoped no one would find it.
He sat waiting for him to come and bring him medicines.
The door opened suddenly. Guven came in covered in a black coat, nervousness in his eyes.
Do you want to kill me? - Akin said with fright. -Give me what you brought, I'm dying of pain.

- You have to take them every eight hours, or you will scream in pain.

"Who would say that the great Guven Celebi would do the shopping for me," he said with a scathing smile.
-Akin consider yourself lucky, I'm risking my neck for you.
"How kind, Ambassador. It is good to know that I finally stop being the only one who risks everything in this bond." Akin took one of the pills and asked Guven to place them in his hand, covered with bandages, almost totally broken. His legs were still weak and he had a noticeable limp from Gediz's blows the day before. Her phone rang before she could lie back on the bed. Guven held it in his ear.
