~First Date~

Jim was training with Draal as usual. Soon Draal began to notice Jim's distracted behavior.

"In a real battle, Trollhunter, you would've lost three fingers, your leg and your gronk-nuks."

"Sorry, I guess I'm just a little distracted tonight." Jim explained as he stood up and got in position.

"Bular will use your distraction as an opportunity..." Draal pushed Jim to the ground.

"...to cleave your head from your shoulders." Draal said strictly.

"Oh."

"What has you distracted this night?" Draal asked wondering as he held his hand out to Jim.

"You wouldn't understand." Jim said as Draal pulled him and pinned him to the ground.

"I am the son of the former Trollhunter, Trollhunter." Draal put his weapon behind Jim's head.

"I am a little preoccupied about how I will end up asking Maya to go on a date with me." Jim said tiredly.

"I don't understand." Draal let go of Jim and Jim turned around to face him.

"I want to ask her to go on a date with me tomorrow, and I plan to kiss her." Jim said as he put his hands on his face embarrassed.

"Date?...Kiss?" Draal asked confused as he picked up Jim and placed him on the bolder, he sat in front of him.

"What is this date and kiss?" Draal asked interested.

"Well you ask a person you like if they want to hang out with you, if they say yes then it's a date. And a kiss is when two people like each other, they put their mouths together. And depending on how much you like them, the longer the kiss. Sometimes for hours." Jim said making a motion with his hands, whilst he blushed brightly.

"Disgusting. Killing sounds easier." Draal gagged as he made an understandable face of disgust.

"Draal, I really like her. If I blow our first date, she might want to break up with me or think I am weird!" Jim exclaimed frantically. He sighed before turned to the direction of Maya's home, Maya had been practicing her magic, she floated up, turning over to Jim and waved with a bright smile.

"You're afraid, but aren't you already bounded to her romantically?" Draal asked putting his fingers together.

"I mean yeah, but that's not how it works. Girls are different than trolls, this is something I am genuinely afraid of. And what makes it sorta worse, she's not a human girl! She is a mermaid princess!" Jim exclaimed growing frustrated.

"I once had similar stirrings for an impure. I know of something that may help. If these girls require you to not be afraid...then you need is a Grit-Shaka." Draal said finding the solution for his problem.

"Is that a protein shake?" Jim asked curiously.

"A Grit-Shaka is a totem used by the Gumm-Gumms. If you wear it, it banishes all cowardice...makes you fierce and ready for battle." Draal explained to him as Jim began to think deeply about his choice.

"You wouldn't happen to have one of these, would you?" Jim asked Draal with a hopeful smile.

~The Next Day~

"Mr. Strickler is out, so he asked me to fill in and teach you some history. Now without further ado I present, Gun Robot 3." Coach Lawrence said as he played the movie and sat down.

Maya rolled her eyes and pulled out her book to learn more about her mother and her powers.

"Jim, just sit next to her and ask her. That's it. She's your girlfriend, for crying out loud." Toby quietly exclaimed to him as Jim began rambling and panicking.
