Chapter 22

Natsu’s Point Of View

A week went by and no encounters with Gin or anyone else. Gray was with Juvia non-stop and everyone was on edge in case anything happened. We heard nothing from Lucy so far. Everyone was waiting for her to get back so we could tell her. I was at the bar with my head on the counter.

“Oh, Natsu. There gotta be something you can do without Lucy.” Mira said.

“I would go on a job but none of them are interesting.” She sighs before going back to cleaning some dishes. I closed my eyes and fell asleep.

When I woke up again everyone was yelling which started to hurt my ears.

“Oh, you awake,” Mira said as she went in front of me.

“Why is everyone yelling?” I said and covered one of my ears.

“They made a bet and some of them are mad that they lost,” Wendy said as she sat next to me. Erza then sat next to me drinking some drink and Gray sat next to her. Mira was looking around to make sure no one else was nearby.

“I know I'm not supposed to say anything but I can clearly see that you guys are worried about Lucy and the threats made,” Mira said in a hushed tone.

“What are you supposed to say?” Gray asked.

“I can see what Lucy is up to right now."

“What do you mean?”

“Master told me that Lucy told him that if she suddenly goes missing or any of that he can find out what happened. On Lucy’s cloak, where it attaches together, well the little gem or whatever it is, is actually a camera. It records none stop. Master told me in case if he’s not here and something happened.”

“Well, how can we see the footage?” I asked.

“Right here.” She placed a lacima in front of us. It was nothing special, just a glass ball.

“Are you sure this is it? It looks like a glass ball.”

“That's the point if it looks like something else than people won't know what it actually is. It is also less likely for Gin to get it too.” While she presses a few buttons on it. A big screen came but she touched the corner and it became smaller.

No One’s Point Of View

On the screen, you could see Lucy looking in the mirror applying lipstick. Her outfit was a black skin type dress. Next to her was a girl with black hair and purple eyes. She was applying red lipstick. Natsu and them could see and hear everything.

“Let's go, ladies, this job isn't going to get it done on its own.”

“Shut up Noah, this is an undercover mission so we can't be seen as our true selves.” The other girl said.

“What about me?” He said looking offended.

“Noah, you blend into the crowd easily so you can hide, we can't hide well,” Lucy said looking at the guy. He had black hair with brown eyes.

“Lucky, it's nice to dress up. Also, don't forget to change your hair.”

“Oh, yea, Lucky called out Cancer so he can do my hair while you finish getting ready,” Lucy mumbled Cancer and he appeared.

“Green.” The girl said as she went to Cancer. He got to work.

“Don't forget to change your eye, Lucky.” Lucy nodded and looked back at the mirror, she focused on her eye and blue started to come out of the pupil till her whole eye was blue. The Fairy Tail members were surprised. Cancer was finished by then and went to Lucy or Lucky.
