There Is More Than You Know

Chapter 39

Natsu's Point Of View 

No one made a sound even when they took Lucy away. The way she spoke was as if she knew that we weren't going to get out. Juvia wasn't here which is a good thing I guess. A door opened again, I could smell a female. I heard a cell open and things being placed on the floor. This went on for who knows how long till she reached our cell. She looked at us with shock and uncertainty.

“Please don't try anything.” She said. She opened the cell and came in. She pulled out a needle from her bag and went over to the girl in our cell. She drew blood which went into a tube, she closed it and put a label on it. She put it in her bag and pulled out another tube she kneeled down in front of us. She grabbed one of Erza's arms and put the needle near her skin but didn’t put it in.

“Push me to the ground, grab my wrist, and have a tight grip to cause a bruise. Go to the left and go down the hallway to the right keeping heading down there till you reach Lucy. if you come across any of the members, hurry up and knock them out.” She whispered to us.

“Why are you helping us?”

“Not everyone that is here wants to be here. Some of us were taken, they threaten to kill our family or we are in debt. While others were born into this and don't know that this is wrong. It's good that you guys are trying to stop them.” 

“Are you sure, we don't want to hurt you?” 

“Yes, it has to be believable. Just do it. Before you do tell Lucy that we are working on phase 2 now but we need time.”

“Alright,” Erza said. She grabbed her wrists causing her to drop the needle which shattered on the ground. Erza was careful when she pushed her down to the ground. As soon she touched the ground Erza let go of her and we ran out. We went the direction she gave us. The hallways were long, doors along the wall. We were coming closer to a break in the hallway when a door went flying off the hinges and hit the wall. A guard laying against the door. Out came Lucy, she looked different than when we last saw her. She had her hair in a high ponytail with one small braid that had different colors. Her outfit was a light blue shirt that wrapped around her neck, her sleeves ended at her elbow. Connected to her shirt was a skirt, it looked tight and it was white and blue. There was a waist cape that had ended at her mid-thigh along with her gold knee-length boots. She held her sword in her hand. She looked at us and I saw brown with gold, Guardian was in control. 

"Come on, let's go." She said and started heading the way we were going. We all ran behind her, sirens were blaring and red was flashing. We turned right to head down that hallway. Two guards appeared at the break of the hallway. They ran up to us, Guardian tightened her grip on her sword. As they came closer Guardian ran faster, once she was close enough she slashed the guards. They fell to the side, gasping for breath. We all continued, as I ran past them I could see blood pouring out of their chest. I push them out of my mind and focus on getting out of here. We soon came to a staircase, we went up. Skipping steps as we ran up multi floors. At the end, we came to a door. Guardian stopped and put her hand on my handle. Her sword changed into a dragger. She quickly threw the door open and moved her dragger to the left. A thud was heard. She kicked whoever was to the right and started running once again. As we ran into the forest, I looked behind and saw a guard on the ground with blood coming out of his neck and the other guard getting up. After running for who knows how long, we came to a stop. We all were breathing heavily.

"What about *pant* the women and kids?" Wendy asked. 

"Later," Was all she said.

"Later? Why later?"

"We were in just one of the many bases they have. I barely escaped, you had helped to get out."

"Ok, then let's contact the Master and ask him to send some of our guild members," Erza said.
