Chapter 26

Natsu's Point Of View

When I felt myself wake up, my face was pushed into the pillow. I lifted my head and saw the sunlight go in my eye from the open window. I put my face back into the pillow, ready to go back to sleep. 

“Natsu, wake up.” I hear Luce say. I respond with a groan. I could hear her giggle. I hear her footsteps walk closer to me. I feel weight next to me. I peek and saw that she was sitting on the edge of the bed looking at me. I flipped myself over so I was on my back.

“I wanna go back to sleep,” I said and closed my eyes. I could hear her shift and I felt something against my lips. She was kissing me. I immediately kissed her back. She pulled away but was still close.

“Now will you get up?” I responded with a maybe before putting my hand on the back of her head and pulled her close again. We soon pulled apart to a very loud knocking.

“Natsu, Lucy hurry up, Gramps want you guys to eat before we head over to the council.” We hear Erza shout. I groan as Luce shouts back ok. She stood up as I sat up. I could see what she was wearing. It was a long sleeve black shirt with a skirt and a different cloak. It was full black but it had maybe a shade or two lighter of a symbol. It looked like something with the council or Fiore. She walked over to my bag and pulled out another black vest with one sleeve missing and white pants. She threw them at me. I stood up, ready to change into the clothes when she stopped me.

“Go take a shower.”

“What, why?”

“I'm not in the mood to deal with a stinky Natsu."

“When am I stinky?” 

“Just go take a shower.'' I just accepted the defeat and went into the bathroom. Not in the mood to deal with angry Lucy. I took a quick shower and turned up my body heat to dry myself faster. I slipped on the clothes and walked out. I put on my shoes and we head out. We walked downstairs and into the dining area. Bout half of the guild was there. I went over to the food while Lucy went to our friends. I grabbed her plate and went over to them. I started stuffing my face as someone asked,

“So who’s going to meet 4th council member?”

“Well, Gramps wanted a small group. Team Natsu is going since we have been more involved, Lucy going because she works for them, and Levy’s going cause she wants to go through any files or papers they have on Dark Night.”

“So bout eight people.” 

“Yup, as soon you guys are done we can head over.” I continued eating while Lucy took a few bites from her food. I noticed ever since she got back that she doesn't really eat much or sleep much too. After a few minutes, we let Gramps know that we were ready to leave. Our hotel was at the beginning of town so we walked through the town. As we walked, we noticed that some of the townspeople were looking at us with fear.

“I wonder what they are scared of?” Wendy said. We all nodded in agreement.

“Lucy, why is your hood up?” I heard Gramps ask. We all look at her and see that her hood was up. 

“Whenever I come here I have my hood up, I don't see a problem in it.” I could hear some coldness in her voice. 

“Are they scared of you?” Levy asked. It was silent for a minute before she answered.

“Yes, now drop it.” we were shocked. Lucy had a town scared of her and this town had the council in it. Now I wonder what she did to get so many people scared. We were silent for the rest of the walk. Everyone we crossed stopped or got out of our way. When we reached the council hall there were only two guards in front of the building which was at the door. We walked up, bout to enter when the guards put their spears in front of it, stopping us.
