Chapter 40

Lucy's Point Of View

Natsu’s soft breaths were the only thing I heard. I undid Natsu's arms that wrapped around my waist and sat up. I looked up at the moon through the window, feeling my magic inside me. I got off the bed and silently went to the bathroom, hoping not to wake anyone up. I closed the door and looked in the mirror. My hair was down and messy. My seal was slowly making itself known. I could feel something going through my veins. As soon it reached my neck the feeling soon started to burn. My body started getting heavy and hot. Not being able to hide it, my eyes change to blue, brown, and gold. Calling forth Virgo, I felt her presence a few seconds later.

“You call princess.”

“Please tell me you have them.” I panted out. My knees were shaking, I could barely hold myself. 

“I'm sorry princess but we don't have any.” I let out a grunt before falling to the ground.

“Call fourth council member or master.”

“But it's late.”

“I don't care, just call them,” I said and handed her my phone. She pressed a few buttons before putting it to her ear. I gasped out in pain as Kalmte answered. I heard her say something.

“Hello, Ms. Kalmte. This is Virgo, Lucy is a little busy right now. I was wondering if you have her extra limiters?” I heard her ask what happened and Virgo explained. 

“I'm sorry, I don't have any but I can get someone to make some for you,” Kalmte said as Virgo put the phone to my ear.

“Yea, just hurry, I don't know how long I can last.” She said ok and that she’ll let me know as soon as they were done. She hung up and Virgo put the phone on the counter. I let out another grunt of pain. I grabbed the edge of my shirt and lift it up. I let out a breath as the heat calmed a bit. I knew I wouldn't be able to go to sleep anytime soon. I was debating whether or not to cut my hair, it made me weak and it might be enough to let me sleep. But there was a risk, I might crash and worry my friends. I summon my dagger and put it to my hair. I stood up and cut through my hair. I let out a breath in relief. My hair had ended at my shoulders which means I might have till morning till it was back. The hair that was cut off was already gone. I put my shirt back on and left the bathroom. I had to stop and lean against the wall as the burning feeling grew again. I fell to the ground as my knees weaken. Every second the burning grew and my body weaken. The seal began to glow. I closed my eyes and sleep took me. 

I don't know how long I slept for but when I woke up I was in the hotel room we first had been. My hair was long once again and I was wearing different clothes. As I sat up I could feel the sweat in the clothes, I cringed at the feeling. Natsu was nowhere in sight, they must be training. The burning feeling was still there but it wasn't as bad as before. I threw my legs over the edge of the bed and my legs felt like lead. Using the furniture in the room I made my way to the bathroom. I looked in the mirror. My hair was more of a mess than before and around my neck was a necklace. When I looked closer at it, I noticed it was a limiter. It was a weaker one but it’ll do for now. I peeled off the wet clothes and turned on the shower. I jumped in and let the water hit me. The burning feeling grew more. I had to turn the water to freezing cold and still didn't help.i had to make this fast. A few minutes later I got out and wrapped a towel around me. I threw on some clothes before calling out Cancer so he can cut my hair to what it used to be. Once he was done I walked out and sat on the bed. The burning feeling calmed down a bit but it was still there. I laid down and closed my eyes again. I ended up finding out that I was asleep for four days. They had found me asleep on the floor curled up in a ball the next morning. They tried to wake me up but I didn't. They thought I crashed so Natsu carried me on his back. We took the train back to our original hotel and they left me in the room while they trained. Kelly was still coming to Earthland even though I was asleep. I heard the door unlock and open. I lifted my head enough to see it was Natsu.
