No One's Point Of View

Days past and Lucy was still asleep. Juvia woke up a day ago and has been healing just fine. No one has told her yet but the friend she was with that day was found dead in an alleyway. Almost everyone was fully healed. Kalmte stayed, working on paperwork while waiting for Lucy to wake up. She had sent some of her wizards to go look at the towns. Reports came in that all the buildings were burned down and male bodies were all in the area. Kalmte decided to close off all the towns while they investigate. No one went on jobs or even talked. They just sat there in silence, taking in everything that happened a few days and the new information. Natsu still couldn’t believe what Lucy had done. She had risked her life to keep him alive knowing what could happen. He was in the infirmary looking at Lucy. Natsu heard a groan. He looked up and saw that Lucy was stirring. Natsu sat down and watched as her eyes slowly opened. She looked around till her eyes landed on Natsu.

“Ho-how did I get here?” She stuttered.

“Kalmte was tracking you so she sent some of us to get you.” Lucy nodded and tried to sit up but gasped in pain. Natsu helped her sit up. He could easily see the pain in her eyes.

“Why haven’t I healed yet?” Lucy mumbled to herself. Natsu easily heard and pointed at the chains that were still on her wrist as he spoke,

“We couldn’t find a way to get those things off.” Lucy looked at her right wrist and moved the chain so she could see the lock. She placed her pointer finger on the lock and a click was heard. The chain opened and fell in her lap. She did the same to the left one and placed them on the table near her.

“How did you do that?”

“My magic, how I am able to form my sword or bow, I just formed a key and unlocked it.” Lucy rubbed her wrist. When she no longer heard anything from Natsu she looked at him and he was deep in thought.

“Natsu are you ok?” She questioned as she placed her hand on his shoulder.

“Why did you do it?” He asked quietly. She looked at him with confusion.

“What do you mean?”

“We heard your conservation with the demon. Why did you attach E.N.D.’s life to yours?” He said and looked at her.

“I did it cause well I knew how you would be if you lost your magic. I knew that you would not be the same. As for the other option, I didn’t want you to blame yourself in case E.N.D. took control and did something. I knew the risk that I was taking and I still did it.”

“But you could have died.” He said, his voice was raised a bit.

“But I didn't, I'm still here Natsu.” He was no longer looking at her.

“Natsu, look at me.” When he didn’t, she placed her hand on his cheek and made him look at her. She could see the tears in his eyes.

“I knew what could have happened. I did it because I love you, Natsu. I knew how you would have been if I did something different. I didn’t want you to be in pain.” Natsu put his forehead against hers and let his tears fall. She rubbed his back till his sobs stopped. He put his head in her neck, taking in her scent.

“Is Juvia ok?” She asked.

“She’s still healing but she can walk now.” He answered while looking at her.

“They also found her friend dead in an alleyway.” Lucy gasped. “And all the towns they had marked were burned down.”

“Did they do it at the same time?” He nodded.

“Did anything else happen?”

“No,” She pulled away from him and just took in all the information.
