The babies make it into another room, where there are a few gates with switches inside them.

The two babies work together with their hammer moves to hit the switches, and when they do, they open up a path into some pipes.

The two babies walk into the pipes and start making their way through the maze.
Baby Mario: Goo goo?
Baby Meggy: Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmnm...
A Spiny Shroopa suddenly reveals itself to the babies.
Babies: WHOA!!!
The Spiny Shroopa charges at them.
Baby Mario: GOO GOO!

The two Hammer Bros. from earlier walk in.
Babies: !
Hammer Bro. 2: Check it out! Now we'll teach you how to fight with hammers like we do!

Hammer Bro. 1: It's rather simple! Pull out the hammer, pull it back, charge up some power, then WHAM! Whack those enemies with that hammer!
Baby Mario pulls out his hammer and approaches the Spiny Shroopa, then whacks the enemy as hard as he can.
Baby Mario: GOO GOO!
Hammer Bro. 1: Nice! Your turn, little orange one!
Baby Meggy pulls out her hammer and approaches the enemy, whacking it as hard as she can.
Baby Meggy: YEAH!
Hammer Bro. 2: Good one!
Hammer Bro. 1: Okay, now the next one. Counterattacking with a hammer!
Hammer Bro. 2: Again, rather simple. Just use the hammer as self-defense!
The Spiny Shroopa attempts to attack the babies. Both time, it gets knocked back by the hammers.
Hammer Bro. 2: You got it or what? Just wait for the shake... And make 'em quake!
Hammer Bro. 1: Go get 'em, little tots!
The Hammer Bros. leave.
