The quartet gets spat out the other side of the Time Hole.
Mario: *Lands on his feet* Aha!
Meggy: *Lands on her feet* Hehe! Hmm... Where are we now?
Mario: *Looks around* Whoa... It looks like... Thwomp Volcano!
Meggy: Thwomp Volcano? Oof, this could be a tough part.
Mario: I would imagine Bowser took Princess Peach to the top of the volcano.
Meggy: Guess we better start climbing.
Mario: Let's-a go!
The couple begins their ascent up the volcano. They meet a mountaineer not too long after.
Mountaineer: Yo, this is Thwomp Volcano! You guys mountaineers too?! We all are... And we're EXTREME!
Meggy: O_O
Mario: Yeaaahhhhh, we knew that already.
Mountaineer: Yeah, you might've guessed from the name, but this is a volcano with lots of Thwomps!
Meggy: Again, we knew that.
Mountaineer: Oh, there's also a scientist at the peek named Gad Zooks or Ollie Smokes or something like that.
Mario: Okay, that we didn't know.
Meggy: Bowser could've gone there!
Mario: Yep, let's get climbing!
It's not long before Mario and Meggy find their first obstacle.
Mario: Oh, crap.
Meggy: Uh oh.
A wall blocks the path.
Mario: How do we get around it?
Baby Mario: Goo goo!
Adults: ?
The adults look where Baby Mario is pointing, finding a purple floating block way up on a very high ledge.
Meggy: Ah, a switch block! That could move this wall!
Mario: Yeah, but we can't toss the babies up there. Too high.
Meggy: That's where one of our new Special Moves comes in!
Mario: Oh, right! Baby Spin!
Babies: :D *Jump off the adults' backs*
The adults get in the shoulder stance and Spin Jump into the babies. The babies go flying very high into the air and land on the ledge.
Mario: Awesome!
Baby Mario: *Hits the block*
The wall disappears, allowing them to progress.
Meggy: Sweet! We can continue!
The babies jump down and land on the adults' backs, and Mario and Meggy continue to climb. They eventually find some Thwacks.
Mario: Ah, crap.
Meggy: Bad guys.
Thwack: YO RENT'S DUE, MOTHERF***ER!
Mario: We ain't getting through unless we fight.
Meggy: Then let's fight.
Mario and Meggy start fighting off the Thwacks. Eventually, they find another obstacle, a wall blocking their progress again.
Mario: Oh, man.
Meggy: Hmm...
Meggy starts to look around for clues on how to get around the wall.
