The Time Hole spits the quartet back into the library.
Mario: *Whispers* Alright. Let's go to E. Gadd.
Meggy: Mmhmm.
The adults pick the babies up on their backs and go back to the first floor, and they go to E. Gadd.
Mario: E. Gadd!
Meggy: We're back!
E. Gadd: ! Hey now! Back at last!
Meggy: Yep!
Mario: And we got the shards back!
E. Gadd: So you've got your hands on some Colbat Star shards, hm? Two of 'em?
Mario: Yes, we do!
Stuffwell jumps out of Mario's pocket.
Stuffwell: We also have a picture that a Toad named Tiabert drew prior to his memory being eradified.
E. Gadd takes a look at the picture.
E. Gadd: Hmm... Ah... It looks to be a sketch of the Shroob princess attacking Princess Peach...
Stuffwell: Yes, Princess Peach is holding off the alien scourge with the Colbat Star, but...
E. Gadd: As we know, Princess Peach lost this battle, and the star shattered into fragments. How did this all happen?
Mario: Hmm...
Meggy: Hmm...
Babies: Hmm...
E. Gadd: Was the Colbat Star alone not enough to win the day? Or did something unexpected and just plain awful happen?
E. Gadd gives the drawing back to Mario, who puts it in his pocket.
E. Gadd: Anyhoo, it hardly matters. You just gotta find those Time Holes and collect Colbat Star shards.
Mario: Yeah!
Meggy: Yep!
Babies: Yah!
E. Gadd: Oh, and that reminds me, a new Time Hole has appeared on the third floor of the castle.
Mario/Meggy: !
E. Gadd: My readings indicate that this particular Time Hole is a direct link to Peach's Castle of old.
Mario: Oh!
Meggy: Well, that's convenient!
E. Gadd: Unfortunately, that castle's under guard by the Shroobs. You can't get inside.
Mario: Ugh...
Meggy: Figures...
E. Gadd: So it looks like you'll have to just concentrate on gathering Colbat Star shards for now.
Mario: Might as well.
E. Gadd: Oh yeah, before I forget, the next Time Hole you should go into is the one on the second floor balcony. That Time Hole is giving off crazy readings.
Mario: Ah, okay.
Meggy: We'll be on our way.
E. Gadd: Try visiting the Toadsworths again, first. They may have something interesting to tell you.
Mario: Meh, why not?
Meggy: I guess we can.
E. Gadd: I wish you good luck.
Meggy: Thanks, E. Gadd.
Stuffwell jumps back into Mario's pocket.
Mario: Let's go see the Toadsworths. They're probably still in the garden.
