Quartet: WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!
The quartet falls from the sky and bounces off a purple mushroom tower, and they land on the ground, with the adults catching the babies.
Mario: Wahaaaaa!
Meggy: Yaaaahhhh!
Babies: *Laughing*
Stuffwell jumps out of Mario's pocket.
Stuffwell: I seem to be improving my landing skills the more I get thrown about like luggage.
Mario: Oof...
Meggy: That aside... *Looks around* Where are we?
Mario: *Looks around* Hmm...
Stuffwell: ...Now then... My super-sensors indicate this is Toad Town.
Mario: ...Oh...
Meggy: Uh oh...
Stuffwell: It seems to have taken an extendular amount of damage.
Mario: The Shroobs really did a number on this village by the looks of it...
Meggyv We gotta defeat them somehow... AND get our Princess back...
Stuffwell jumps back into Mario's pocket.
Mario: We might as well check this place out...
Meggy: Yep...
Mario and Meggy explore the remains of Toad Town. The ground and bouldings are covered with purple mushrooms.
Meggy: No doubt these aliens call this place Shroob Town...
Mario: Right... Are there any survivors?
Meggy: Sadly... I don't think so...
Mario: Damn it...
A robot-looking Shroob spots them.
Shroid: Stop right there, criminal scum!
Mario: Uh oh...
Shroid: IMMA FIRIN' MAH PINGAS LAZAH!!!
The Shroid fires a Pingas Laser at the couple.
Meggy: JUMP!
Mario: YEET!
The couple jumps out of the way, and they start fighting the Shroid. After a minute, they destroy the Shroid.
Mario: Good... That's over with.
Meggy: Let's continue...
Mario and Meggy walk to a different part of the village, where a gate blocks their path. Two transparent blocks also float in the air.
Mario: Ah, crap... How are we gonna get past this?
Meggy: Hmm... Oh! Over the wall!
Meggy points over the short wall, where a gate blocks the path there, and there's a solid block and a transparent block floating in the air in front of that.
Meggy: The babies can hit the block there, and we'll follow suit and hit these blocks! Both these gates should open that way.
Mario: Let's try it!
Babies: *Nod*
The adults toss the babies over the wall. The babies land on the ground and go below the blocks. The babies hit their blocks, then the adults follow suit. The gates then disappear.
Mario: It DID open them! Nice!
Meggy: Hehe!
Babies: :D
