Hey guys, my college work has been starting to pile up, so I might be posting once every three or four days.

Sleep is something that I used to hate. I would never get a good night's sleep because of my nightmares. Ever since I started UA I have stopped having nightmares, so that is a relief. I was enjoying my sleep. I was interrupted from my slumber when my mom busting into my room and opened my blinds sun hitting my face. I turn and hiss at her baring my fangs at her and she hits me faster than I can react.
"Don't you bare your fangs at me young blood!"
"I was just practicing my vampire hiss mother," I try to lie but she sees right threw me and hits me again.
"I was born two thousand years ago not yesterday now get downstairs."
I groan again and get up. I walk down the hallway to see the stairs were removed. I shrug and jump down. Not that I think about is we can jump higher than humans so why did we need stairs anyway. I land on the floor and a catch a stake that was thrown at me.
"Trying to test my reflexes mother?" She looked at me and smiled. I go over and get my blood pack and something tasted different about it. I continue to drink when suddenly I fall to the floor gripping my chest and I look at my mother for an explanation.
"You already failed the first test. Your werewolf saw the blood and saw food, but if you had paid attention and smelled it you would have detected the poison in the blood. You are very skilled with your werewolf side. Today we are focusing on your vampire side. I tainted your food with something that will shut down your wolf side for the day. Now you can train your vampire side with no distraction."
"Ok, now let's get to spare." We walk to the training room and without hesitation she hits me. I slam into the wall. I quickly recover and lash at her. I land a couple of hits on her and it makes me happy. I have never last to my mother and I do not intend to start now. She starts to land more blows and dodging them and I am starting to get mad. I can not keep up with her and I start to swing wildly. It does no good as she is to fast landing one more blow making me submit.
"Mother I do not understand I have never lost to you. I do not understand." This is weird I have never lost what is going on?"
"Yuki you seem to forget that I am way older than you. As a vampire gets older their strength and speed increase. You were only able to defeat me before was because of your wolf side. As a normal vampire, you are no match for someone older than you. Plus that power you get with your anger as a werewolf means nothing if it is suppressed right now. Did you ever notice that your father always lost to me in human form?"
Now that I think about father only won when he was in wolf form.
"I can tell you are getting it. You see a werewolf in human form is like Captain America a little stronger than a human, but a vampire is significantly stronger no matter how old they are when fighting a wolf in human form. Now when in wolf form werewolves are more like the hulk and if the vampire is not agile enough they will lose regardless of age."
"Ok, I get it, mom. So are you going to teach me about my vampire lord form now?"
"Yes, your vampire lord form is as simple as your wolf form only it hurts a lot less. All you have to do is imagine it and it will happen almost right away."
I close my eyes and feel myself get taller. I open and look in the mirror.

I look awesome in this form. I see my mother is in her vampire lord form and we start to fight. I notice I am a little faster and stronger I do not feel comfortable though. I know that I a faster in this form, but I was so used to my wolf form. Hours pass and I am tired so we stop and I get ready for bed. While getting ready I feel an of strength return. The poison was finally out of my system and I get my wolf side back. As I headed to bed I think I felt like someone was watching me so I went to the window but saw nothing. I got into bed and drifted to sleep happily knowing more about my vampire side.
