Chapter 10 The(Almost) Perfect Date

I wake up to the smell of blood. I jump out of bed and race to the training room to find my mother on the floor pulling a wooden stake out her leg.

     "Mother, what happed? Are you ok?" I know my mother is strong, she has survived for two thousand years after all but I still worry.

     "Don't worry Yuki I am fine. I set up the stake shooter and was practicing my agility and dodging. I guess one caught me off guard."

     "Mom you know if one had hit your heart you would die, right? I do not know what I would do without you."

     "I am not going anywhere. Now, what are you going to do today? School is tomorrow."

You know what? I think I am going to make my move on Shinrin. "I am going to ask Shinrin out tonight. I like her and I want to see if maybe we can be more then just friends. Hey, I am going to go for getting ready for my daily flight. Stay safe mother love you." Before I go fly I text Shinrin to ask about tonight.

Me: Good morning Shinrin!

Shinrin: Good morning Chikara! How are you this morning?

Me: I'm doing good. About to get ready for my daily flight around the neighborhood. Hey, I wanted to ask do you have any plans tonight?

Shinrin: Uh no why?

Me: I wanted to know if you would go out to dinner with me tonight?

Shinrin: Like friends or as a date?

Me: Like a date. If you don't want to it is ok.

Shinrin: No I would love to!

Me: Ok cool. I will meet you at your house at 5:30 cool?

Shinrin: Ok can't wait to see you then!"

Well, that want better then I thought. I decided to finish getting ready and leave for my daily flight.

Shinrin's Pov earlier that same morning

I was fixing my plants in my garden and I could not stop thinking about Chikara. He was so brave when fighting at the USJ. He is very kind too and has a really strong quirk too. I le him, but I wonder if he likes me back. Probably not who would be interested in mine? In the middle of my thoughts, my phone pinged to see a message from nonother Chikara.

Omg did that really just happen? Ok well, he said 5:30 so I have some time. This is going so fun, I just hope nothing goes wrong.

Back to Yuki's Pov

I get back home from my flight and get into the shower to clean. I still have a while until my date so I decide to surf the web. I go to Wattpad and look at my favorite author JacobFain2. He has some good stories well I think so. I always so him trying to promote his stories, oh well I like them. After an hour or two, I get up from my computer and hit up Yuu and Ikari and see if they want to hang out. Ikari told us to meet at his house so I bring out my wings and fly out. I see his house and I land and look at his huge house. I ring the doorbell and the gate opened to a zen garden.

     "Hey Yuki comes on in Yuu is in the living room."

I walk into the living room to see Yuu and Shoto playing Mario Kart. Yuu looks at me and waves.
