Chapter 17 Hawks Agency

 Hey, guys, I'm back! Finally done with my finals so I am back with another update! Ok, let's get to it, shall we?

A couple of days after the sleepover with my class it was Monday unfortunately ugh. I get up and get changed into my uniform and decide not to do my hair out of laziness. I don't feel like walking so I fly downstairs. This mansion is so big there is enough room to fly. I land at the table only for my mom to scold me.

     "Yuki how many times do I have to tell you not to fly in the house."

     "I was too lazy to walk."

     "Lazy vampire, hurry up and eat we need to get going."

I nod and drink my blood bag. I make sure to grab a couple of blood bags for lunch. We get into the car and drive. I wonder why my mom didn't become a hero.

     "Hey mom, why did you not become a hero when we moved to Japan? I remember a couple of years ago that you had agencies looking to recruit you." I looked at her and I saw a sadness in her eyes that made me regret asking. "Sorry for asking mom nevermind."

     "No, its ok young one. I did want to become a hero when we moved here, but we had just lost your father and I was afraid if I became a hero you would be a target."

We arrived at the school and I gave my mom a hug telling her I would become a hero and protect her. Not that she needs it though, she was well over 2000 years old. I walk to my class and was greeted by Yuu.

     "Hey Vamp bro ready for class?"

I look at him with a tired expression "No I would rather have a stake threw the heart."

     "Well if you don't like my class Mr. Chikara then leave," Mr. Aziawa said scaring. "Just kidding go take your seats all of you. I have received all your agency submissions and have contacted the heros. You will be leaving for your internship right after class. Your parents have been notified and your stuff is in your lockers."

After he was done the bell rang. We all went to our lockers to get our stuff. Before I leave I told my mother goodbye and I was off. I was taken to a car by one of the teachers and I was taken to hawks agency. I was let out the car and I stood up looking at the tall building. It was at least 15 feet tall with feather-like windows. I walk int the building and see a receptionist. "Hi, I'm Chikara from UA High here to see Mr. Hawks." 

     "Yes, he has been expecting you. He is on the top floor, take the elevator and I will call and tell him you are here."

I make my way to the elevator and hit the top button. As it was going up it stopped. I looked at the screen and saw Hawks.

     "Yuki good to see you, now right to the point. As a hero, you will be in situations that require you to make in the moment decisions. From the moment this recording stops you will have 10 seconds to escape the elevator before stakes shoot into your chest. Not enough to kill you, but it will cause some discomfort. After that make your way to the top floor where I will be waiting."

True to his word stakes came out the walls aimed at me. I think and use my strength and open the hatch above me and hop out just in time. I was about to hop back in when the elevator dropped. I quickly use my claw and latch into the concrete wall. I start to climb my way up then I could feel another elevator above me coming down, I quickly open one of the doors to whatever floor I was on and hop threw. I look at the wall and see that I was on floor 15 and the top floor was 100 ugh. I start walking when I hear faint voices talking about stopping me from getting to Hawks. Most likely sidekicks of Hawks to stop me. I turn into a small bat and get behind them. It was a group of five. I reappear with a puff of black smoke.

     "Hi, guys."

     "That is him, boys, let's get him."

I go to neck chop one of than when a sword comes out the wall. 

     "Hey, a kid my quirk is called sword summon. I can summon swords  from anywhere and control them."

I press the VW on my neckless and my hero suit forms. I feel a sword hit me but it breaks on impact because my suit is so strong. I smile and speed up to the guy "Nothing personal my guy," and chop him in the neck knocking him out. With no time to waste and do the same to the other three. The last guy was a challenge because every time I go to hit him sand comes his backpack to defend him without warning. He is blocking the stairwell and I need to get past.

     "My name is Garra of the desert and my quirk is sand manipulation. I can use sand to do all most anything."

Ok then, let's see if his sand can react fast enough when I am being serious. I decide to use 50% of my speed and start to attack. Just as I thought his sand could not keep up and I punched him in the gut. Before I leave I turn to him on the ground I turn to him "This was fun. You were a fun opponent, we should do this again before I leave." The next 85 floors were the same deal with "villains" trying to stop me. I finally get to Hawks' floor.

     "Ah, Yuki so glad you made it. How was it?"

I look at him "Well, I did not expect to be fighting yet, but it was fun. Quick question is this where you live? This place has everything a house would have."

     "Yes, this is my penthouse or as I like to call it the hawk hut. With me always at the agency, I had the top floor redesigned as my own personal penthouse. Hey, it is pretty late, how about you go to the guest room and hit the hay."

I cringe at the thought of calling this place the hawk hut. I tell him good night and head to bed.
