Chapter 12 The Sports Festival Part One

After hearing about the sports festival, I would train every chance I got. I found that in my vampire lord form I could do magic like draining some life force to replenish my own. It had been about three weeks and now the sports festival was here. The only worry I had was about that Monomo kid, he was a perfect counter for me witch could prove for an interesting fight. I look at my clack and see it is time for me to meet the tired capitular outside. I wave to him and get into the car.

When we arrive at the school I am greeted by Midori waiting for me near the parking lot.  "Good morning babe," I say and her a kiss on the cheek. She blushed as we walk into the school. There is about ten till the bell rings so we sit outside. "You nervous about today love?"

     "Yea a little. I just want to show the heroes what I can do. Also, what if I and you have to fight one another?"

     "Well then I will not hold back Midori and neither should you. We are this is our time to show the pros what we are capable of and if we hold back then it will be for nothing. If we fight then give it your all understand?" She nods and we head to class, but not for long because the teacher took role and we were loaded into the bus to head to the arena. Yuu was so excited he could not keep still. 

     "Aren't you excited you guys?" Yuu said looking at me and Ikari replied.

     "We are I just think some of us are a little on edge with everything that has happen." 

He said this and looked at me. 

     "Oh, yea sorry Yuki."

     "It's all good I mean yea I am worried, but I can not let that get in my way from climbing to the top! To be honest I am more worried about that Monomo kid. He is kile the perfect counter to my quirk." I was going to continue but the bus stopped and we were here. We get out and head into the arena to see a stage set up with a microphone and Mrs. Midnight comes up.

     "Before we announce the first game we will have a representative come and give some opening words. This student represents the strongest first year. Think of this student's strength at the same level as the Big Two's. May I present Yuki Chikara!" 

I was not surprised I mean I have taken down a Nomu and am the reason the big three is not the big two. As I walk threw the crowd I can hear the hate and it is ok because I have had to deal with much worse. I walk up to the mic and try to say the nicest words I can. "Let's all do our best today guys!" I say with my fist in the air and they cheer.

     "Ok, so the first game will be a race. Everyone on the count of three you will run threw that far door and run the course we have set up. The first one back will be the winner. One, Two, Three gooo!!"

Without a second to use using my supernatural speed, I speed through the doors and start running. I stop when I hear a loud noise and I can the other kids are just getting to me. We look to see enormous robots that were at least 49 feet (15 Meters). Everyone looks scared but I simply smile as I jump and smash the robot in the air,  as I do this I summon my wings and fly ahead I then hear Present Mic over the speakers. 

"And Chikara from class 1A is in the lead. This kid has speed, strength, he can fly and if I am not mistaken he has two forms. Is there anything that can take thig kid down?!?!" 

 I laugh, just because I do not show my weakness does not mean I possess none. I am extremely sensitive to holy objects and hits from a holy weapon or water do not heal right away. Then there is my weakness to silver and wolfsbane. I can see the finishing line when I feel a large plant grab my leg. It threw me down with great force and I look to see Midori passing by on a giant plant.
