THE VAMPIRE COUPLE and Elena entered the Grill, Damon holding a graduation cap in hand and a smirk on his face. "Oh! Look who graduated." He pushed the certificate into Jeremy's chest and placed the graduation cap on his head. "Oh! Ha!"

Echo laughed and sat down across from her brother and boyfriend, downing a glass of bourbon that had been sitting at the empty seat. It was like Jeremy knew she was going to show up and saved it for her.

The blue eyed vampire shrugged nonchalantly and leaned against his girlfriends chair. "Sure. I mean, practically flunking, missed 100 days of school, and you can barely spell the word "cat," but sure. He was fine with you graduating early."

Elena chuckled slightly. "We helped the process along. Mm-hmm. I'm gonna get a drink."

Jack reached across the table to hold her hand. "You okay?"

Damon shrugged and was the one to answer, "She will be. We all will. Somehow, we'll all find a way to move on without you, Jeremy." He then smirked. "Oh, hey, just did. Oh, look under the cap," he ordered and the Gilbert did was asked to find a joint taped to the top. He laughed in surprise, glancing at Damon in surprise. So, the older male leaned across the table and began to mock-whisper, "I jacked a little going-away present from Ric's girlfriend's stash."

Echo laughed at her baby brothers facial expression as he hid the stash again. "Don't do anything illegal, alright? I don't want to have to beat your ass if you get caught."

"Why? Who's going to arrest him?" Damon questioned with a snarky smirk causing her to laugh at the thought of Jeremy getting arrested.

AFTER GETTING A call from Liz, the couple walked into her office at the police station to see her going through paper work.

"Not to be blunt, but I think dying gets you a ticket out of work," the Salvatore said in his usual snide tone causing the blonde to look up with an unamused expression, to which he shrugged. "Just saying. How you feeling?" He questioned in genuine concern.

"Like I'm not gonna leave this job with unfinished business. I have all these open cases," the Sheriff responded, gesturing to all of the files piled up in her office.

"Well, let me see if wecan help you close a couple of them." Damon said, offering up an idea, as he picked up one of the files and opened it. "Uhh! Yeah. This one was me," he informed her before picking up more and tossing them to the side. "Me. Also me." He smirked while studying the picture of the mangled victim. "Ooh, this one was Stefan's." Echo laughed as his brows raises even higher as he studied it further and shook his head with pursed lip. "Oh, wait. No. Me. Yeah."
