Friendly, introverted bookworm studying Writing. Loves flora and fauna.

"Really?" Brea commented upon reading my draft description of myself to put on the university app.

"What? It's true stuff about me." I shrugged nervously. I wasn't that eager to be doing this but I promised her.

"Hmm.." Brea pondered.

Hopeless romantic with a passion for writing. Independent, friendly and fun to be around.

"That's a bit better." She grinned.

I frowned. "Well its not as crazy as yours I suppose."

Happy-go-lucky and outgoing music major who likes to party, attend concerts and bake all sorts of goodies.

I laughed. "You sound like a modern day granny."

"Whatever." She rolled her eyes grinning. "Shall we post them?"

I read over my paragraph hoping it was ok. There was no time to change it anyhow, Brea had posted it already.

"And now we wait." She said excitedly like a kid on Christmas morning.

"So when do we actually go on the blind date?"

"There'll be a get together towards the end of the month."

I tied my hair back into a ponytail, it was too hot to wear it out now. "So until then we just talk?

"Don't make it sound like such a bad thing." She tied up the shoelaces on her joggers, ready to go for a run as she did every afternoon.

"It's just weird knowing we can't ask who they are until we meet them."

"You could but it'd defeat the whole purpose." She got up from the bed and plugged her phone into the charger. "Ready for when I come back." She winked. "You coming?"

I nodded and ran out of the dorm room with her.

It was sunset by the time we got back home. I unlocked the door to my room, got changed into my pjs and prepared my stuff for my poetry lecture tomorrow morning.
I cooked myself some macaroni and cheese pasta and sat down at my desk to eat it.
I picked up my phone and checked the app, just because I was curious.

I had 4 new messages.

NoScope182: Hey babe, hows it goin? Wuld luv 2 get 2 no u xx

Oh god. That spelling. It hurt my head just looking at it.

ILikeScrabbleandStuff8: Hi there. This thing seems fun. Catch ya.

Brief but not weird.

Earth_Lover001: Please consider the environment when printing and using paper.

Was that spam? I didn't have to think too hard on that one. I didn't mind people showing they cared for the environment because it was a good thing. Sometimes they just went too far.

RomeoGuy65: Hello :) How are you? What an interesting idea, don't you think? I hope we can chat :)

I liked when people sent smilies so I immediately replied to Romeo. His response was friendly and nice.

Briar_Rose36: Hi Romeo :) I'm pretty good thank you for asking. What about you? I think it's interesting and a little strange :P  I'm really only doing it because I promised my friend.

I sent the message back to him and proceeded to eat my dinner. I kind of hoped that maybe I'd get a message back. The idea of the mystery was, in a weird way, exciting.
