Harry chapter 14
I woke up the next morning, a beautiful Saturday. And I could smell the faint scent of pancakes. I looked at the clock. 10:15 it blinked. I rolled out of bed and got dressed. Grabbed my phone of of my nightstand and rushed down stairs. I debated if i should meet Brooke early. Nah I will just have to find a way to occupy myself for 40 minutes. I ended up walking to the florist to pick up a pretty bouquet for her. The bouquet had a few Lilies, a ton of little white accent flowers and those long strands of decorative grass. I made it to Brooke's house just in time. She opened the door causing the wind to blow in her face, which honestly reminded me of the cover of a magazine. I handed her the flowers and kissed her on the forehead.
"Let me go put these inside." She said sweetly.
I nodded as I watched her hop up her three porch steps.
She came back rather quickly. I didn't even notice how pretty she looked today. Her hair was perfectly curled and her eyes seemed to shine brighter today.
"So where exactly are we going?" She asked.
"Ah, see that's one of the many great things about this date. You're just going to have to wait and find out." I replied.
She sarcastically groaned.
"Oh hush!" I added as I grabbed her hand.
We started walking towards the fairgrounds. Teasing each other every once in a while. When I thought about it, it was quite incredible how close we have become within the last day. I felt like I could tell her anything.
She gasped as she saw what we were doing for our first date.
"The London Eye..." She gawked.
I smiled.
"Do you like it?" I asked.
She nodded. Speechless.
"I have always wanted to go on this, ever since I was 6." She said
"Good. I'm glad I got to make one of your dreams come true." I told her.
She smiled and kissed me. We got on the London Eye still grasping each others hand. Even though this moment was perfect I don't think I was prepared for what I was about to tell her.
