CHAPTER 5

Kongpob paced back and forth in the living room. He stared at his phone and sighing. Negative thoughts started to creep in his mind and he didn't like it at all. He just wanted to make sure his daughter was safe.

Kongpob's eyes widened when he heard the door open. He rushed towards the door to come in sight with his drunk daughter.

"April!" Kongpob gasped. He rushed towards his daughter who only rolled her eyes at him.

"What are you doing April!? You're drunk!?" Kongpob shouted.

"What? Can't you see? Now move, I want to sleep," April pushed Kongpob away.

"April!" Kongpob shouted as he balanced himself from falling.

"What!?" April shouted back.

"Do you know what day's today? And do you know I've been waiting for you from the time I returned back from office?" Kongpob asked, his voice stern but steady.

"Why should I care? I don't give a damn about it," April rolled her eyes.

Kongpob's eyes widened, "Is this the way you talk to your Mom?"

April scoffed, "Mom? What was that? The only thing I know is you're that fucking Simon's slave!"

"April!" Kongpob raised his hand but stopped mid-air when he saw April closing her eyes expecting for a slap.

Kongpob sighed, his eyes whelmed up with tears.

"Is it wrong for me to wish to celebrate my daughter's birthday with her? Is it your mom's fault to wish like that? Do you know how much worried I was? Do you know how much hurt I felt knowing my daughter was celebrating her 15th birthday at someplace with her friends?" Kongpob wiped the tears that ran down his cheeks.

"And you came here drunk!? You're only 15! It doesn't give you the right to drink, you're too young for it! That too at some bar!" Kongpob scolded.

"I'll do whatever I want! Just leave me alone!" April said, she couldn't handle seeing Kongpob soo distressed but he didn't have any choice, she wanted Kongpob to hate her.

Kongpob glared at April who started to walk away. Kongpob rushed towards April and grabbed her shoulder making her handbag fall on the ground.

Kongpob's eyes widened when he saw packets of white powder from her bag. He leaned down to take it for only been snatched by April.

"Don't look at my private things, mom!" April growled.

Kongpob snatched the packet back from April who screamed at him but he opened the packet and smelled for him to only cover his nose. His eyes threw daggers at April who stood there with a tensed face.

"What is this April?" Kongpob groaned but April kept quite.

"I asked, what is this!?" Kongpob asked again, his scent penetrating from him in a strong way making April choke a little.

"Can't...can't you see? It's drug of course," April tried to act cool but it miserably failed when she saw Kongpob's eyes turning red.

"Who gave you these drugs?" Kongpob growled.

April's eyes widened, she didn't speak a word.

"I asked you a question, April!" Kongpob shouted louder.

"If you're soo smart go and find," April scoffed before she took the bag from the floor and began to walk upstairs.

Kongpob grabbed April's hand making April angrier, she was an alpha and things like this were making her alpha angrier.
