April groaned as she slowly opened her eyes, a throbbing headache hit her as soon as the light entered through her eyes.

"Shit," April cursed, trying to stand up her eyes widened when she knew that her hands were tied behind a chair.

She looked around the large room. A light bulb was hanging from the top to where she was sitting and all other space in the room was dark. She could see a small window at the far end, no other openings.

"Hey! Hello! Anyone here!" April shouted as she tried to wiggle out from the chair.

"Finally, you're awake."

April's eyes widened when she heard that voice. Her head snapped into the direction of the voice behind the dark end of the room.

Her breath hitched when she saw Simon walking towards her with hands-on his Jean's pocket and a smirk on his face.

"Untie me you bastard!" April shouted at Simon.

"Oh, come on darling. I'm your stepdad after all," Simon smiled smugly at April who was trying her best to untie from the chair.

"You're not my fucking step-dad or whatever Simon! My mom already divorced you!" April smirked at Simon when she saw him flinch.

Simon soon composed himself, smiling at April he scouted down in one knee.

"But you didn't have my permission for the divorce, isn't it? That bastard Arthit had faked my sign and trials!" Simon gritted his teeth as he remembered when the notice of the successful divorce letter came to his house just three days after Kongpob had left his house.

Simon couldn't believe it at that time. He had never signed the paper and always tore each one of them when one was sent to him for the three days Kongpob had left. At the same time, his company was drowning in loss somehow and he knows who the culprit is for that. He wanted to teach them a lesson.

"That's because you refused to sign. My mom and I don't want a person like you in our lives so my dad, do you hear me? MY Dad helped me and Mom, that's all," April smiled sweetly at Simon, her two dimples at display.

Simon clutched his fist. He stood up absurdly and clutched April's jaw with his fingers.

"You little brat! How dare you talk to me like that?! I'll make sure your so-called dad and mom will suffer! They're already with the loss of their only child," Simon smirked.

April's eyes bored into Simon's soul, hatred and anger rise in her eyes at the mention of her parents' name.

April spit her saliva right into Simon's face who backed away in disgust.

"You little shit! If that deep shit Arthit didn't come my dear Kongpob would be sitting here instead you!" Simon glared as he wiped the spit on his face with his shirt's sleeve.

"If you dare place a finger on my mom, you're going to see who April is!" April shouted at Simon who laughed.

"Oh really? Then I'm going to being him here soon. Wait and watch my baby girl," Simon smirked at April who looked at him with deep black eyes at the moment.

"Guards, keep my little girl a company until my lovely Kong comes," Simon shouted at the guards who at their call walked inside the room.

*****

Kongpob's tears were falling nonstop. Arthit was with his friends in the living room of their house. It's been almost 5 hours since April went missing and they couldn't track her down. Kongpob's mom and dad were beside him trying to ease him.
