"There are those that long to die, and those longing to live,
And yet we sit here wondering, what is there in life to give?"

Do you fear death? I believe many of us do. Death is inevitable, it's always looming around the corner somewhere. Some taken too early, some taken horribly and some are lucky to witness it. But why is it that there are those that long for death?

Is the world too much to bear? Is their pain too excruciating? Some see the world as nothing but a joke to their pain. A  place of suffering, too judgmental to those that are disadvantaged.

We see death as a final goodbye, that's if we're lucky to say goodbye to our loved ones before being taken away. I assume many of us have lost loved ones, many we neglected and those we cared too much about.

When we see our loved ones go, we feel empty inside. We mourn, cry, and wonder what it could've been like if you spoke to them more often. Regrets, and wishing upon your imagination, that you could get one last chance to tell them what you've been hiding within your heart. That one chance to say goodbye, that one chance to tell them that you love them, that one chance...that one chance.

But there are no chances with death. It comes, it takes you and it goes. There a those that have survived death but it's actually quite rare.

Before death, many try to live up to our religious beliefs or the ethics and moral codes of society. Some do not even bother with such things and live accordingly to themselves. It can be difficult to understand what life after death could be but with honesty, there could literally be nothing.

Humans fear the word "nothing." It terrifies their entire soul, their entire being. To have nothing is to be lost in darkness forever and even though many say they're not afraid of the dark, being in the dark for eternity after death, sounds frighting to even the "superheros".

Many say we'll become ghosts and roam the earth freely or end up staying in one place forever, the place of your death. Haunting the place that took our souls too early.

Many say that there's a heaven waiting for those that have done good to the world. Those that have done bad, end up in the pit fire of hell.

Yet whatever it is that you believe in, we can all agree that death and life after it, is truly a mystery.

However, what we do before death is controllable, at times. So be careful with how you decide to carry on with your life. Always hold your loved ones close and do not neglect them, no matter how tempting and easy it is to let go.

Many of us are yet to settle our accounts with this deceptive world and when we do, make sure to do so before death comes knocking at your door.
