GaLe/Gajevy - The strong mind and the strong body

Part 2 - Confessions

It was noon and the sun stood low at the orange sky, a shining moon in the distance. It was few hours since Juliana had entered the guild doors, but she definitely knew how to get peoples thoughts going.

Lucy and Levy were on their way to Lucy’s apartment to talk about the new girl and Natsu and Lucy’s job - here among for Levy to hear whether anything soon was to happen between the two. Unfortunately Natsu had tagged along spoiling Levy’s plan. Levy came up with an excuse and leaved the two. She hoped they would sit in Lucy’s bed cuddling. The past few weeks Lucy had seemed more and more interested in Natsu, and Levy deeply hoped the two would find together.

Walking in her fangirl-dreams, she heard the voice of a crying girl. She looked around and saw the big black hair of Gajeel. Between his arms stood a smaller green figure, it took Levy a second to figure out it was Juliana. A bad feeling filled Levy as she saw his arms around the new girl's body. He hugged her deeply and Levy glimpsed a smile on his face and a shine in his eye. Wait… did Gajeel CRY?! She had never seen Gajeel cry before. Levy went into cover behind a bush only to find Juvia already being there.

“Shh! Hurry up before they see you.” She whispered and went back to listening closely to what seemed to be a VERY private conversation.

 "I'm so sorry Gajeel," Juliana sniffed: "I'm sorry I leaved you and the others. I had to, you know, but I missed you guys." her hug tightened "I missed you."

"Yeah missed ya too."

Her voice became angrier as she almost whispered: "I can't believe how you must have felt."

Juvia sniffed. "Juvia thinks Juliana has either gained more self-control, lost her feelings for Gajeel-sama or else she's hiding her feelings again." She sighted.

Levy was confused with multiple questions in her head one of them bigger than the others: "Why do you think that?"

Juvia smiled as she got a flash back: "Back then in a situation like this she would be so frustrated she would scream and kick everything because of what she'd done. Then Gajeel would use his strength to hold her down until she would give up." Juvia sighted again.

 "It's alright," Gajeel said mouth in Juliana’s dark hair.

"No it's not! It's not alright. You didn't deserve to be left behind. I-I left you behind..."

Gajeel pushed the girl away from him: "You had your reasons. I'm glad you’re safe." He petted her hair.

Juliana waited a second before answering: "Thanks." They hugged again.

 “You sleep with Juvia tonight? Need help to get there?” She nodded and they leaved, Juvia and Levy still hiding in the bush.

As they were out of sight, Juvia and Levy still sat in the bush.

"Wauw" Levy said shocked by the things she had just heard.

"Gajeel is such a liar." Juvia whispered to herself.

"Why?"

"It was a horror to be near Gajeel the weeks after Juliana left. He was so irritable and mad. Juvia couldn't get near him. He turned his anger towards other things and people. A lot got to fear him in that time." Juvia turned to Levy: "It was a bad time in Gajeels life. Levy won't tell anyone, right?"

"No." She was stunned to hear that about Gajeel.

“They never showed their feelings in the guild either. Juliana just happened to tell Juvia once, and Juvia promised never to tell anyone - it would have ruined both of their rumors. The two normally never cry either, so it's very private. Levy wouldn’t tell this to anybody either, right? Gajeel would be… well mad at Juvia, and then mad at everyone else. Would Levy promise Juvia she’ll never tell?” Her eyes looked really creepy.

“All right.” Levy declared as she stood up from the bush.

On her way home to Fairy Hills she had walked with Juvia. All Levy wanted was to rest upon the many new experiences she had had that day. The two managed to get home before Gajeel and Juliana, and Juvia had prepared a girls-sleepover for those two only, staying up late and all.

As Levy went to sleep, she couldn’t get the thought of Gajeel and Juliana out of her head. Were they more than friends as Lucy had said? What were the feelings the two had hidden? Why did it bother her so much about the conversation she had overheard anyway?

The next day the team had gathered in the guild. In fact most of the guild members seemed curious about this Juliana, her relationship with Phantom Lord (or Juvia and Gajeel), and her weird language. Levy hadn't noticed that Fried wasn't there yesterday, but clearly he was interested in the rumors about the language too.

Juvia and Juliana arrived together. Juvia looked confused by the guild members’ behavior but it didn’t seem to bother Juliana, which bothered Levy.

 "Juvia!" Levy yelled and waved.

The two went to the team and Juvia started chatting with the group. Levy hadn't seen Gajeel arrive, but suddenly he stood beside Juliana whispering.

He started his "Gehehe" and said "Most of them are ugly anyway," but Juliana looked serious about whatever she said.

"Who is this?" Master said looking at Juliana.

Oh! Master hadn’t met her yesterday either! Levy thought. Gajeel bowed his head and whispered to Juliana.

Levy didn't hear everything but she did catch the words "The Master - childlike height..." and Juliana nodded.

"Hello, I'm Juliana" she introduced her head tipped as if looking slightly over Masters head. Her eyes were closed.

"Welcome to Fairy Tail Juliana! I'm Makarov, the master of Fairy Tail. What brings you here?"

Her shy smile disappeared: "Well you see that's kinda complicated and long…" She took Gajeel’s hand.

He placed his eat by her mouth and she whispered something. Gajeel put the hand of hers on Masters right shoulder: "On your left, Juliana." 

She learned down whispering to Master and stood back up.

"Am I permitted to stay around a few days?" She then asked nicely.

 Master smiled "Sure! Welcome to Fairy Tail Juliana."

Juliana lightened up in a big smile. Gajeel smiled too.

"Yay! Juliana you can sleep in my room as long as you want to!" Juvia yelled happily.

Juliana gave a thumps up.
