Part 5 - Training

The next day Levy and Lucy hugged each other goodbye as the team was about to take off. Juvia was there too, ensuring Gray's safe trip. Levy walked to the guildhall again. In the corner of her eye she found Juliana sitting on the grass. Juvia had leaved her to talk to Gray.

 Levy went to her: "Does anybody sit here?" she asked standing beside her.

Juliana shook her head. The two sat in silence a while. The birds sang and the wind made sounds in the treetops.

"What do you think of Fairy Tail so far?" Levy broke the silence.

"It's alright. I miss the flood near my own place, but apart from that it's just fine." Juliana smiled back to her.

"Well, that's good."

"Yep"

"Say Levy, are you friends with Gajeel and Juvia or just with Lucy?" Juliana stared into the distance again.

"Ehm I am friends with them, I suppose." Levy hesitated. It wasn't exactly a friendship she and Gajeel had... Or was it? He always confused her at things like this. "Why are you asking?"

"It's a bit hard to figure out who those two really are friends with, and who is just guild members."

Levy nodded understanding. "Don't worry, in Fairy Tail we're all like family."

"Oh really? Well, that sounds nice. However I doubt everyone is pleased, when members of a dark guild joins them."

"They had to win some acknowledgement, but we trust our Masters decisions, and after a while it was fine. It was the hardest with Gajeel, since it was him who destroyed our guildhouse and beated me and my group. But he has definitely gotten some respect after several things he's done.",

"You don't mind after he beat you?",

"No, he has saved me several times too." Levy smiled.

Gajeel came towards the girls smiling. He hadn't seen Levy, and his smile changed a little. "Wanna go train again?" he asked Juliana. She laughed and nodded: "Sure, wanna join Levy?" the comment took Levy by surprise. Before she answered, Juliana got up and pulled Levy with her as Levy took her hand. Levy was kind of affraid training with Gajeel and Juliana - she knew she was much under their level of strength. They went into the forest and stopped in a clearing. Gajeel and Juliana placed themselves in each corner. "You're going to join or what?" Gajeel asked.

Juliana started the fight with an attack on Gajeel and the game was on.

The two fought well. Juliana made a weird thing with her mouth and moved like she saw everything.

"Iron dragons fist!" Gajeel yelled and shot his iron arm towards Juliana. She dodged and ran beside him. As she neared him he turned and shot an iron boot at her. She jumped away.

"You are so noisy Gajeel! Breathe and try again!" Juliana yelled. She used all the small  bumps to jump from and get away from Gajeel's attacks.

He hit her a few times making Levy grasp, but Juliana just got up and kept going: "That's good!" 

She got through his defence a few times too. "Too bad Gajeel! Try harder."

Levy noticed that Juliana hadn't used magic yet... Maybe she wasn't a mage?

"Why don't you join Levy?" Juliana encouraged.

"Well..." Levy said unsure. As she's about to give an answer, a iron arm flew through the air and Levy almost didn't dodge it.

"Hey!"

"Get going shrimp," Gajeel giggled. Juliana still moving got through his defence once more and punched him in the back.

"Eyes on target Gajeel, haven't I already told you that?" She ran through the trees.

Gajeel mumbled something "...always have."

"You're gonna get paid for that Gajeel!" Levy ran after them.

Levy threw solid water scripts after them both, and was punched herself by some of Gajeel or Juliana's tricks multiple times. Despite Juliana's blindness, Levy found it hard to keep track with the two.

They had fought in hours and they all three seemed to be a bit exhausted. As Levy stopped to catch her breath, she looked up the sky.

"It's getting dark..." she noticed.

"You scared shrimp?" Gajeel teased.

Levy's mouth changed to a small stripe. "No I'm not!"

"Hey you tw-,", "Brrroooaaa!" it sounded from Juliana's stomach. "Woho! Seems I'm hungry from all this training. Shall we go?"

They all three laughed at Juliana's loud stomach. And by that it was decided to return to the guild. Juliana, Gajeel, Levy ate together. Juvia joined and they had a lot of fun together at the table. They talked about weird situations they had been in and funny things Juliana and Juvia had experienced together. Levy found out Juliana could sing, or so Juvia said. She didn't want to let us hear, but Levy believed it.

The next day Levy fought with Gajeel and Juliana once more. She had learnt something for sure but she was still behind their level. Luckily those two could fight each other. Juliana however also seemed to be easily exhausted. She stopped and leaned upon a tree breathing hard with a smile on her lips.

Gajeel stopped too: "You done?"

"Y-yeah... I am.." she smiled. But she kept leaning up the tree. Gajeel and Levy looked each other in the eyes both considering the situation.

Levy walked to her: "You alright?"

"I'm fine!" Juliana smiled and began walking. "I'm going home, you two can just continue."

The two looked at each other: "That was sudden..." Gajeel mumbled.

"Yeah... Maybe she just pushed herself a bit too hard?" Levy suggested. He didn't seem to believe that theory but he didn't say anything.

"We're fighting on?" she asked.

"Only if you use more than water, it's getting annoying to be wet."

The two continued the fight an hour or two, until Levy was too exhausted.

"Wait just ... A second... I need air." she declared and laid down at the grass. Gajeel didn't listen however and jumped at Levy.

"Do you give up shrimp?" he teased sitting on top of her.

"Let go Gajeel!" Levy managed to roll him off and herself on top of him, but she quickly ended underneath him again. Levy tried to push him off but was exhausted. She then blushed as she saw how close their bodies were.

"All right Gajeel, I give up! Now get off,"

He rolled to the side and laid down in the grass beside her. Their breathing became more and more relaxed as they looked up the sky. In the end the two agreed to go back to the guild.
