Sabrina's Flying A's

Driving in to school wasn't to bad, I didn't need to wake up so early then usual catching the bus and Oli seemed more glad then ever taking apart of it. The morning went really fast with Geography and English  assignments I got A plus on both reports but Science took a  surprising twist with timing, we worked in groups of three on the subject; the side effect of drugs. "We could do Hashish or Magic Mushrooms?" Emily voice's her idea's as I wrote them done following  with my one which is Heroin.  "Lame....so boring!" Stella throws a paper that she scrunches in a ball into the bin behind her but the ball misses hitting Kev Easterwoods back, he didn't say anything but  though the class period  he was giving us evil stares as if we where plotting something against him. The  bell rings as we choose Magic Mushrooms for our project for the next two weeks. William was no where to be seen and his usually spot at the  table was half in size, leaving Cody with Lisa and Peter fighting over something that seems pity while Cody starts laughing. Cody glances my way giving me all his attention; he winks at me  that sends my knees weak. Dee tags at my arm pushing me towards his way. Cody waves his hand over to join them, where I walk  away from Dee as Emily rolls her eyes in disgust.  I slide in on there table with my tray full of yummy food I selected at the cafeteria. Cody greets me with a kiss on my cheek and then slides his arm around my hips but I shuffle away slightly at his touch. Lisa wears he hair down in thick smooth curls sitting on Peter's lap  eating a  schnitzel roll. "Love your hair, natural or does it take you hours on end like mine?" Lisa ask while chewing.  I don't know if she's mocking my hair or if she's being serious since its at its frizzy curl in locks today in a half up and done bun. I thank her in a sweet and quick way.  I pick at what's left of my pesto pasta on the plate as Peter and Lisa suggest we do a double date this Friday but Cody kindly blows it off.  "What a buzz kill you are!" Lisa throws a chip in Cody's direction.  "N..not my thing, that's all" A laugh escapes Cody's mouth that sounds confident but then a hint of nerves comes to the surface feeling his hands shake slightly when I reach out for them under the table.  I see Noah when I look at Cody, half shielding his face, one side reality and the other my guilt. I let go of Cody's hand; a bang echos through the food court  following the hallway as a circle forms around  Stella, Sophia and other three girls harshly slam mouthing  a girl who seems very shy with her head down walking  by the lockers. Stella knocks her over making her books go everywhere, Sophia laughs as half of the crowd joins in with her and the other half frowns.  Stella picks the books up from the floor and hits her with it as; the other two girls calls her names like freak and go kill yourself.  My heart speeds up of anger. The girl looks at me with fear in her eyes, her hair is blonde up in a ponytail but then her hair changes into a cooper color. It was me.  Everything changed, everything  looked like we were in Rushmore's locker room, dark and rusty feels to it,  her skin appeared red as I feel warmth to my own skin.  Then waves of energy comes out of her that pushes everyone away but me. It just slightly knocks my chest back in Phoenix  hallway were they start kicking her. My tummy turns as a lump in my throat grows.  "Stop that!" My voice blows out of my voice box that I quickly regret my involvement. 

The girls hair changes into blonde, her arms still covering herself from the hits. Sophia flicks her hair away from her face as Stella and the other three girls turns there attention on me ready for there nasty throwbacks but then William stands in front of me with his broad posture. A shock of  mix waves goes through my body of relief and  captivating site of William. "Well, aren't you the brave solider saving the day, Whatever let's go girls" Sophia rolls her eyes walking with the crowd as the circle fades away.   William helps the girl up to her feet as she thanks us. Cody runs up to me with a shocked expression his arms out stretch in the air half way.   "You sure know how to keep us on our toes!"  I nod my head giving him a small smile as I apolgise. The Teacher Kev fast walks in rage missing out the fight that teachers normally stop before anything else happens. He nods his head in dismiss fixing his thick black mustache in a twisting motion.   I  don't thank William for what he did, but he gives me a wink and nods in hesitation.  "You alright?" I shrug my shoulders feeling Cody putting his arms around my shoulders.  Am I okay though; I just had a black flash and nothing happened bad. I didn't even hyperventilate or do anything that could cause a fire hazard.  So I guess I am even though my fingers tips are numb, its a big improvement. 

"Hey man, good to see ya!" Peter gives William a hand shake that ends in a tight hug, he greets Cody with a nod and joins us outside in the courtyard. "You ready for tonight performance?" William gives Cody a fist bonce in excitement. "You guys will rock!" Lisa takes a drink from her soda can nodding in agreement to her statement. " Well Sabrina and Hannah done a great job at handing it from the social side, don't be surprised that the whole school will be there!"  William's bites into his apple that send my inside's wet ready for him to give me a hint of flirtation but he never does.  We head into our next period as the third bell rings. The day picks up again with Mathematics and Language Arts with another report cards of A plus once again. The tutoring is really paying off and if I stay at this pace I can pass my year in flying colors.
