True Rose

When Dark stepped outside into the darkness of the TMNT realm she felt confused and mortified. She walked briskly to the portal back to her realm.
" Dark wait!" Sparkle ran out after her. She stopped when Dark turned to face her.
Sparkle froze in terror at her surroundings and realize it was dark. Very dark.  The other girl mercifully walked towards her.
" Theres nothing out here that can hurt you Sp-"
" No don't.  I came out here to talk to you...I wasn't honest back there. I" she took a deep breathe " I was afraid of these feelings because. Because I knew once you kissed me my heart would always belong to you. "
She stared at the sparkley girl shaking in terror. Braving her fears to be honest with her.
" Do you know how long I've been waiting to hear you say that?" Dark chuckled her hard exterior melting to her usal relaxed stance. Sparkle bit her lip. She was anything but relaxed.
" Can we go back in anything can just come and eat you or maul you.  Or kidnap you or-"
Dark walked over to Sparkle practically quaking in her boots.
And she kissed her softly, sweetly savoring the cherry taste of her lip gloss. Trying to convey calm with every twist and gasp. Their own lovely melody.
" The only thing out here my love is us."
She took Sparkles hands in her own and looked directly into her eyes.
" And I'd rather die before a scratch falls upon your beautiful perfection."
Dark stroked sparkle's face and placed her head on her forehead.
" I love you so much I can barely breathe when your not around."  Dark sighed letting the revaluation of Sparkle's words dance in her head. Sparkle took dark's hands from her own and guided her to the nearest portal.
Dark stared at her quizzically.
" Its to dark Dark. Plus theres nothing romantic in the slightest about TMNTs realm."
Dark laughed.
" I like the Dark actucally. Its peaceful, quiet."
" I prefer the Dark in frount of me.
This Dark is more beautiful and far more lovely."
Dark blushed thanking any God she could think of that it was nighttime.

So Dark finally got her. It took ker long enough. TMNT sighed. No more pretending Dark didnt always love Sparkle. No more secrets no more hiding.
" Finally" she whispered to no one in particular.

Sparkle took Dark back to her relam. Familiar territory felt nice.
" Come I want to show you something." She beckoned Dark closer.
" Stay Close."
" Is it dangerous?"
" No honestly even my own woods are terrifying to me at night. And I mad e them. Being near you helps. "
Dark pressed herself aganist Sparkle so they were hip to hip.
" I'm here, don't worry."
* Again if you dont know where Neon night is skip this part.*
Sparkle slid open the door on the tree and stepped in.
" Buckle up"
The girls strap in and the platform careens down at a neck breaking pace.
Dark felt a scream rip through her throat.
" Follow me."
Dark thought she might pass out blood pounded in her ears.
" What the actual hell was that!"
Sparkle smiled an easy going smile and drew her closer to her and farther form the platform.

" Where are we?"
" Neon night" Sparkle replied nonchalantly
Dark was amazed at the scenery around her. A light sprinkling of darkness with splashes of neon a giant neon pool in the center of a race track. Fairies flitted around like little lightening bugs.
Sparkle looked like a fairy. Maybe she wasn't a goddess maybe she was part fairy? Or I fairy in disguise?
" Do you like it? Its where the fairies sleep."
"You put in a racetrack?"
Sparkle shrugged and smiled.
" Sick of getting pulled over. Figured I'd bring the fun here."
There was no wind here, just the chittering of the fairies.
Sparkle leaned in and softly kissed Dark. Hugging her body to her own.
" I had to do that once, cant let you have all the fun."
Dark mummered into Sparkle's lips. She pushed harder.
Sparkle broke off first?
" Wanna race?" She said.
Dark looked at the track. A race agaisnt Sparkle.
Yeah she was gonna lose. Majorly. But she looked toward Sparkle's smiling face.
" Sure why not."
" Your going down. Hard" Her smile seemed to get brighter. That's what she was after. A smile a laugh.
" Let's do this"
