Jai'yanna's Pov:

I checked the time on my Apple Watch, and it read 6:02 a.m.

I was out of breath and exhausted this morning. Roman's teasing made me work even harder. "Are you already tired?!" he laughed, watching me struggle. "You need to stop smoking that weed."

"Damn it!" I exclaimed, my legs unsteady as I sprinted another lap.

"Come on, you've got this!" Roman exclaimed, sprinting off.

Roman, who's been training us on some rocky trails in Malibu, suggested that I take a deep breath and open up my lungs to improve airflow. Considering the current situation, this might actually be the reason I should quit smoking.

I left the Christian's house around 4 this morning. He was slumped this time, so I didn't have to argue my way out. Sahara, who never went to sleep, immediately came and got me. We then went back to the house.

Afterward, I only managed to get two hours of sleep before Roman arrived and took me to training.

"Hey, day dream!" Roman called out.

I didn't even realize I was jogging. "I'm running, I'm running!" I increased my speed, determined to reach the top of the hill and collapse.

"Running is my passion, and it helps me stay connected to the world around me. I hope you're also learning the basics of being in such a noisy yet serene environment," Romam said. As I ran, Roman jogged backward towards me.

"What does that mean?" I grumbled. Hiking uphill is incredibly difficult.

Roman posed a thought-provoking question early on: "If a tree were to fall in a forest and no one were present to hear it, would it still produce a sound?"

"It depends on whether you're referring to sound or a conscious experience," I replied. I could see the summit of the mountain; I was almost there and pushed myself to reach it.

"That's why I admire you, Don. You always think creatively," Roman pursued me.

5 minutes went by, and we were there.

And wow.

And wow
