The footsteps got closer. I couldn't see anything. All I saw is Jason get on the bed scared.
"Well. Well. Welll!!" The voice said. That's voice. I looked it was Hector.
"If it isn't my daughter and my grandson" he said
"Leave Hector." I said.
"I don't think so. You know y/n, that girl really isn't Joel's cousin. She's just another person I sent to take him away from you." He said.
"Leave Hector. Stop trying to get in my head. It's not going to work." I said.
"You know I should of killed you a long time ago." He said
"But you didn't have the guts to do it. Why!! Because you loved me. Even if I wasn't your real daughter. You had some love for me in that cold heart of yours." I said. My contractions were getting stronger.
"You need help? Poor baby!" He said making fun of me. I was in pain, It was just contractions. I couldn't move. Hector came up and dragged me off the bed. Jason cries, I screamed in pain.
"Hector LET GO!!!" I screamed, he let's go and I covered my belly. He hits me, Jason screamed. He quickly ran downstairs opened the door and screamed for help. One of our neighbors was walking around, they both heard screams and Jason asking for help. They ran upstairs and got hector off of me. One guy took him off and the other one helped me into another room. Jason ran behind me.i sat down on the bed.
"Do you need an ambulance?" The guy asked me
"Yes please. My baby.." I said painting.
He calls police and ambulance. The quickly came and arrested Hector. They quickly took me.
"Ima go with her. Do you need anything?" The one guy that took me away asked
"No. Just my son" I said
He nods, he brings Jason with him and they both got in with me. After arriving at the hospital. They quickly took me in and checked my contractions. They also checked how dislates I was.
"Y/n your not there yet. Those contractions are just a heads up. Hopefully by tonight they baby will be here. Also, your not fully dilated. You'll have to go home and just wait. If you feel like you can't anymore come back and we'll check and keep you over night just in case." He said. I nod.
We left. The other guy came to pick us up.
We got in the car and went home. Joel still wasn't home. I thanked the guys and went inside my house. I went and locked everything. I told Jason to go bathe and he went. I got some dinner ready for the both of us. I turned on the tv and watched some Netflix while cooking. I finished cooking. I made Jason his chocolate milk and he finally comes down. I took everything off of the stove. I quickly went up to shower I didn't trust leaving Jason alone for longer then 20 mins.
After I finished, I went down and i served some food for Jason and some for me. He sits down and begins to eat. So do I. My face hurt from Hector beating it. I tried to eat but couldn't. So I just drink some juice. But the cold just wasn't it either so I did a hot chocolate It felt much better. The door opens I heard giggles and all. I was already getting annoyed.
"Babe I'm home." He said. I didn't even bother.
"You Can stay the night here and leave tomorrow." Joel said
"But I didn't bring any clothes" she said.
"Well that's too bad. Now leave my house. I said and turned around. I got up and kicked her out. I closed the door and locked it.
"What was that for y/n?" Joel asked me.
"Your son was calling you. Why did you turn your phone off?" I asked him.
"I didn't it had died." He said
"Stop lying!!" I said. I finally looked up at him. He saw my face. His eyes softened. I walked pass him. Jason has finished, I cleaned up and we went up stairs. Joel didn't follow he knew I was mad. But all I wanted was for him to hug me. The door bell ring, I walked downstairs and Joel had already opened the door. I smiled . It was the guy from earlier.
"Heyyy!" He said. I hugged him.
"Hey, I'm i forgot to exchange numbers." He said
"Oh yeah. Um come in." I said. I grabbed a piece of paper and wrote his number down and name. His name was Eli. I gave him my number.
"Ok so if you need anything him here and so is my friend. If anything happens call me. I'll get here quick." He said and smiled
"Yeah I will. Thank you so much" I said. I hugged him and he hugs back. He leaves and I closed the door. Joel asked what was that about.
"What was that all about?" He asked
"He and his friend saved me from dying. Not only me but both of my kids" I said
"What do you mean?" He asked confused.
"Hector came and was about to kill me. He did this to my face. Your son tried calling you. You were his only hope. That guy and his friend came in and took me to the hospital. Where tf were you? HOEING AROUND! With your "step cousin" you turn off your phone on your own son." I said. I went upstairs and Jason was already sleeping in his bed. I went to my room and laid down. He comes in all mad. And tries to find the simplest thing to argue for. I finally got up and he argued, I argued back and it went back and fourth. He lifts his right hand up-
"Ahhhhh!" I screamed-
Hiiii!!!! So if anything sounds weird I was falling asleep while writing this! And the phone was literally falling on my face😂.
