The hooded cloak proved to be an amazing asset as you stepped out into the sunlight, keeping your face hidden from the sun could only mean good things as you started across the square.
If you could just keep from sneezing again today then perhaps you'd be able to get back to the tavern, safe and sound. You met one awesome person, seen more of the world, and even got this sweet cloak... Because cloaks never should've gone out of fashion, in your opinion. If there was one thing you could bring back with you from this world, it would be your new favorite clothing item.
And yes, that meant the cloak was more important to you than Dabi.
Maybe not Hagakure, but it was a close one.
"Hey!" A voice shouted across the square and you grimaced. It was okay, this was fine. They probably weren't even talking to you, there were a lot of people here.
"There she is, the one who tried to ambush me with magic!" Ambush with magic? Whoever did that was ballsy. Hm... It would probably be suspicious not to turn and look. That was what normal humans did, right?
Plastering the most confused look on your face, you turned to the person who yelled, only to see a finger pointing squarely at you.
Fun. Okay.
Several guards stepped forward as you yelped, "What? I didn't attack you!"
Swords were pointed at you as you looked around, now you really were the center of attention... You could even see Zoltan sticking his head out of his shop to look at you in shock.
When would you have had time to attack anyon... Oh, wait.
Vaguely you remembered a sword swinging at your head after you sneezed.
Another person who thought you were attacking because you popped in on them.
"Seize her!"
They weren't even going to listen to what you had to say?!
At this point, it was pretty easy to see that fate was now actively hiring hitmen to mess with you as the guards rushed forward.
And you know what? You weren't going to sit here and go to jail. Something told you these people wouldn't be nearly as nice to you as the police back home were.
"STOP!" You raised your hand theatrically above your head, catching their attention. You just needed to stop them long enough for you to sneeze. Your other hand pulled the cloak off your head and you looked around, squinting slightly in the mid daylight.
Neither theater nor improv were skills you possessed, but you did your best as you glanced at the knights who were watching you warily.
You silently urged your quirk to hurry up. Normally it had no problem pulling you around the moment you stepped into the sun, but now it decided to take its dear, sweet time. Now was not the time to be dear or sweet!
"I would think twice before trying to grab me," You said trying to get your voice to be any lower... It didn't work.
What to say... come on, think of something!
"Touch me, and you'll earn the wrath of one of the Seven Deadly Sins!"
NOT THAT!!!
Welp... there went your life. You could physically see the shift in the guards' eyes as they looked at you.
Instead of just being irritated or whatever they had been, there was a look of determination and anger in the ones you could see. They might have just arrested you before, and you'd get out of there once they looked away, but now...
