The pre drinks were at Louis place so everyone was crowding around Louis large kitchen.
As sad as it sounds, I stayed upstairs in my room away from everyone.
I don't know what it is about big groups of people, but there's always one person I know from my past who wouldn't hesitate to call me out on what I use to be.
Someone knocks on my door and I sigh annoyed as I open the door to realise it's a blue eyed, hazelnut haired male.
Liam. The guy Eleanor set me up with me.
"What are you doing up here?" He chuckles.
"Hey Liam." I smile as he pulls me in for a hug.
"You look really nice." He says politely before walking into my room. "Seriously though, why are you up here?"
"I'm avoiding someone." I chuckle uncomfortably.
"Is that someone possibly me?" He questions.
I shake my head. "Of course not. No. I'm avoiding Zayn."
"Oh." Liam nods. "Your ex, he's not here. Apparently he's just going straight to Funky Buddha."
"Oh."
"Oh." Liam mimics.
"Oh. Cool." I smile and giggle timidly. "I guess I should go down."
"Yeah you should, we're leaving in about ten minutes. louis already started calling for taxis. So I suggest you get your pretty little self downstairs and have a good time."
I smile tiredly as he grabs my hand and leads me out the door. "Come on."
"How many people are there?"
"There's like thirty of us downstairs. Just come." He chuckles. "You'll be fine."
"Yeah but-" I stop myself as he turns to look at me. "Never mind."
"Come on then." He chuckles.
"Oh you finally decided to join us Miss Antisocial." Louis teases before wrapping an around my shoulder and casting a sneaky scowl at Liam.
"Sorry, I just don't like big crowds." I say quietly.
Zayn knew that. As sadistic and crazy as he was, he never put me in a situation that made me freak out to the point I'd be hyperventilating. Sometimes I have to think that this strange phobia to dislike being big crowds was intensified because of Zayn leaving me in the house for so long that I'm use to just being in small groups.
"You'll be okay." Louis reassures.
"I'll be with you." Liam adds, causing Louis to look up at him annoyed.
"And you can have a few, surely that'll help you. Are you claustrophobic?"
I shrug. "I just don't like big crowds. I don't mind being in them, as long as I'm not seen."
Liam nods and Louis frowns. "Strange you are Lorena. Very strange." He chuckles before looking down at what I'm wearing. "I love this slut on you by the way."
I chuckle uncontrollably and he nudges my rib before walking away.
"He just-"
"He was joking." I say to Liam.
"I'll get you a drink."
"Very strong please." I say quietly and he nods.
"Can I have everyones attention!" Louis stands up on the bench and talking begins to quieten down, as does the music.
