Maggie sat in the dugouts at the King Power Stadium. Leicester had a big game against Chelsea who were trying to climb the table. It was a tense game as the Foxes went one goal behind just after half-time. Maggie couldn't stand the London club as it was the club that her dad loved.

The Foxes were now level with Frank Lampard's team and it had been almost ten minutes since they had equalised.

Maggie watched as her boyfriend charged into the box with the ball at his feet before pinging it to the other side. The bench sighed as the ball missed his team members but it wasn't over yet. Youri Tielemans kicked the ball in the direction of ben and they all cheered as they watched him hit the ball into the back of the net.

The whole dugout was ecstatic and Maggie couldn't be prouder of her boyfriend for he had scored his third goal for his club and she was there to witness it.

Ben celebrated his goal with a knee slide in the front of the fans, James running up and hugging him from behind. Maggie smiled at the scene. the two boys were like two peas in a pod and Maggie loved watching what her boyfriend loved to do the most.

Time ticked away on the clock until the referee blew the final whistle, the game ending in a draw.

The team applauded their fans before walking back into the tunnel, ben walking in with Maggie who had waited a bit for her boyfriend.

"I'm proud of you." She told him as she wrapped her arm around his waist.

"You enjoy that goal against Chelsea then?" He asked despite already knowing the answer and laughing as she simply squeezed his waist, or at least tried to since his torso was rock hard.

The couple walked into the tunnel together and Maggie expected him to go into the dressing rooms to get ready to go home.

"Ben, aren't you going to go in? I'm sure Brendan's expecting you." Maggie pointed towards the blue door and ben let out a small chuckle.

"It's okay. I have something that I want to show you and Brendan is allowing me to do it." He gave her his signature smile that made Maggie weak at the knees. She followed him, trusting that whatever he had in store would be good and not something that would make her go running for the hills.

Ben lead her further down the tunnel until they were right at the very back. He let go of his hold on her and stood in front of her, only a few inches separating them. Maggie could automatically tell from his change in behaviour that he was nervous. He was shifting his weight from foot to foot and running his hand through his hair.

"Maggie Amalure Artemesia Margarita Montez," Maggie scrunched her eyebrows together, not sure why ben had started whatever he was about to say with her full and very Spanish name.

"You are one of a kind," She nearly choked up at the sentence. It was sweet but it was also what her mother used to say to her every night as she was tucking her in as a child and she thought that somehow, Ben knew this.

"You drew me in from the first day that I met you and even after all of your attempts to shut me out, I was still there," She smiled at the memories of how she was unwilling to let Ben in but she did and it was the best decision that she had ever made.

"I turned you soft and don't deny that I did because you know that it's true." The couple laughed at his statement and as much as Maggie wished that she could deny it and keep her tough exterior, she knew that ben had mellowed her out. He taught her about all the good in the world.

"We haven't had the easiest love story thanks to your dad but that has definitely made us stronger," Maggie and Ben liked to disagree on a lot of things, mostly what TV show or what movie they would watch but this was something that they could both agree on.

"We've had our fights," Maggie thought back to almost a month ago when ben freaked out about the magazine articles and she almost laughed because of how silly it was.

"And we still end up in each other's arms. That's exactly why," The brunette girl watched in shock as her boyfriend got down on one knee, picking up a velvet blue box that he had left beside the wall and opening it to reveal a stunning ring.

"I want to do this. Maggie Montez, your name is a mouthful and I don't want to butcher it again because it's beautiful," She laughed at his words, tears coming to her eyes as she finally came to terms with what was happening.

"Would you do me the honour of becoming my wife?" Before Ben had finished his sentence, Maggie was announcing her answer.

"Yes!" Ben smiled, feeling like he was on top of the world as he slid on the simple and thin silver band which was topped with a slightly bigger rock in the middle and two tiny ones either side. he knew that simple was her style, she never liked anything too flashy.

"I love you." She mumbled into his chest as they stood, hugging in the tunnel.

"I proposed to you here because look," Ben pointed to his left and Maggie's right and as the smaller girl looked up, she saw a picture of her mother framed in a plaque. It was in remembrance of the woman who served the club well.

"This is where I met your mum. It was four years ago, the day that Leicester won the league. I was walking around the stadium before the game, trying to collect my thoughts," Maggie listened intently as Ben told her the story of how he met her Mum. She didn't know that they had met and it somehow made the moment even more special.

"I bumped into her by accident, causing her to drop all of her things everywhere," Ben told his fiancée and heard her giggle, imagining the scene since both her mum and Ben were incredibly clumsy.

"I apologised multiple times and helped her clear up because I didn't want to make a bad impression. She stood and spoke to me for a good few minutes and when I was called to leave, she said to me," Maggie's heart pounded in her chest as she waited to hear what her mother had said to the tall boy.

"She said, 'You're such a nice, young man. My daughter would adore you. I hope you get to meet her one day. I hope that you or someone like you will be the one to marry her.' Then she walked away." Ben smiled down at the brunette girl, seeing her eyes fill with tears. Maggie was emotional knowing that her mum approved of her relationship and knowing that she would love Ben.

"That's why you proposed here. So that my mum would be part of it." Maggie pieced it all together and Ben could only nod, seeing how happy it made her.

"You're the best." It was a cheesy line but Maggie meant it. Ben Chilwell was the best there ever was. He had met her mum days before she had passed away and knowing that she liked him was special for Maggie.

Ben did whatever he possibly could to ensure Maggie's happiness and she couldn't imagine herself with anybody else. He was the one for her.
