No One's POV

The morning sun rose as (Y/N) woke up as he held the back of his head to wince a little in pain, "Oh god my head feels like a bag of bricks." He then felt something land on his back to see his little brother, "Your finally up!" (Y/N) sucked air through his teeth as he felt the many bruises on his back, "Ow ow ow ow! Kano get off of my back!" Kano jumped off of (Y/N)'s back, "Sorry." It's fine. How long was I out?" "Just for the night, so not long." (Y/N) then quickly stood up, "Crap! I left the food in the woods!" The little girl then walked up to him as she ate a piece of bread, "That fox girl brought the food here as she carried you here." "What fox girl Maria?" "That woman with long black hair, yellow eyes, and nine white fluffy tails." (Y/N) remembered the woman Maria described as the one who attacked him, "Are you sure that is what she looked like?" "I am definitely sure."

(Y/N) was confused as he couldn't understand why someone would attack him and then bring him to his home safely. Also, how did she know where he lived? He was interrupted from his thoughts by Kano, "So what are we gonna do today?" "I don't know little buddy." "But you said we could do something today!" "I know, maybe there is a festival going on in town. But don't get your hopes up." (Y/N) then noticed multiple shadows on the other side of the entrance doors, which made him curious. He went to check it out, "You guys sit here, I'll be right back." They nodded as (Y/N) climbed to the roof to a large hole in the ceiling. He checked in front of the house to see many people outside who looked angry.

(Y/N) went back down to stand in front Kano and Maria as he crossed his arms, "Why is there an angry mob outside?" The two avoided eye contact as they acted innocent to which (Y/N) gave them a stare that said, 'You better tell me'  "Kano, do you wanna tell me?" Kano stayed silent making (Y/N) look at Maria, "How about you Maria?" Maria stayed quiet until she burst out an explanation really quickly, "We wanted to steal something small o that we can show you that we can help you so that you don't have to do everything on your own! We are terribly sorry!" The door was then banged by a man outside, "We warned you (Y/N)! If we saw anyone of you stealing again we would come for you! Now open up!"

(Y/N) sighed as he walked to the backdoor while looking at the children, "We will talk about this later." The kids hung their heads as they followed (Y/N). They grabbed their things and exited through the backdoor as the mob were all at the front door. (Y/N) led them through the back alleyways and out the city where they were no longer safe. They walked through into the woods as they were soon surrounded by trees and stayed off of the dirt path.

Ahri laid on a branch in a tree as no one has crossed her woods today and there was no trouble that she could sense. Her tails were combined into one as it swayed back and fourth as her hand hanged off of the branch as she looked bored, "There is nothing to do today. No people to watch and all of the animals are busy." Her ears then twitched as she heard footsteps in her woods. She got up as she then quickly made her way towards the noise. She then saw people so she hid in a bush to see the human from yesterday, the little ones as well, and a deer on the ground as it had a rope around it's legs from a trap.

Her tails became separate and her eyes turned into one of a fox's as she watched to see the little boy look at the deer in excitement, "Yeah! Lunch!" The small girl gave a sad look as she looked at (Y/N), "What, no! Were not gonna kill it right (Y/N)?!" The human, that was apparently called (Y/N), pulled out his dagger to walk towards the dear. He then cut the rope, "We have plenty of bread and cheese. We don't need to kill it." Ahri's tails went back to normal along with her eyes as the deer got up to look at (Y/N0 and then trot away. Kano wined, "Oh alright." As Maria clapped while smiling, "Yay!"

Ahri watched as she moved her foot to then here a branch move. A rope tightened around her ankle as she then was lifted into the air. She was upside down as the other three starred at her until Maria smiled while pointing at Ahri, "It's the fox girl from yesterday!" (Y/N) nodded his head, "Yeah I know, we've met before." Ahri seemed to frown as she looked at (Y/N), "I am sorry." (Y/N) sighed as he walked towards Ahri, "Hold on a second." (Y/N) quickly went up the tree and cut the rope letting Ahri fall to have her turn and land on her feet.

(Y/N) jumped down, "Alright lets go kids, we need to keep going if we wanna reach the next town in a couple of hours." Ahri put her hand up, "Hold on. Why are you in my woods and what is your business here?" "It's none of your-" He was then interrupted by Maria, "My brother and I stole something to help (Y/N)." Next was Kano, "We wanted to show that we can handle ourselves, but we just brought a mob home." "So now we have to find a new home." Ahri looked at the two as she seemed to think a bit, until she put a finger up, "I know a place." (Y/N) seemed a it interested, "Where?"

After a while they arrived at an old lodge to which Ahri would keep clean whenever she was bored, "You all can stay here if you want. It is safe from mobs." The children's eyes lit up as it wasn't a dusty old house or warehouse. The ran inside as they looked around while (Y/N) walked in to set his stuff down. Ahri walked in, "Before I go, do you want me to heal your wounds. As an apology for what I did." "If you can do that then go ahead." (Y/N) sat on a stump as Ahri stood behind him, "Please lift up your shirt." "Alright." (Y/N) lifted up his shirt to show all of the bruises on his back. But there was this large scar that covered his back, "Did I happen to-" "No, that happened a couple of years ago."

Ahri put her hands on his back as she started to heal (Y/N), "Once again, I am sorry for what I did." "It's fine. I've been through worse." "I was just on edge." "Why?" "Well yesterday a lot of poachers came for me and the animals. I thought you were one of them; but I was wrong." "Well we all make mistakes." Ahri finished, "There you go." (Y/N) stood up, "Thanks." "I will check up on you in at least a week." (Y/N) put his shirt down as he turned around, "Alright then-" When he turned around, Ahri was gone. (Y/N) walked into the lodge, "That's gonna get annoying."
