Chapter 12

The new week arrived and I am finally going to train on the element of water. I can honestly say that I always felt a pull towards water. My dad explained some things and we started. I managed to do everything on the first try. We worked on both offense and defense. It was 18:00 when I returned in my room and my phone rung. It was Pietro.

P: Do you want to go out?

Me: People say hi first. Yes, I would like to go out. What time?

P: Around 19:00? Let's meet in our alley. I'll pick you up from there.

I didn't get the chance to answer and he hung up. I started getting ready. I showered, did my hair, got dressed and left. Since the simulation day, we don't need to ask for permission in order to go out. When I arrived at the alley, I didn't wait for long before he picked me up. In a couple of seconds we were at the park.

P: I've missed you.

Me: I missed you too.

We shared a tender kiss.

P: What did you do last week?

I told him what happened.

Me: How about you?

P: I didn't do anything in particular. I spent time with my sister. I heard my dad saying that they will move on Warren Jr on the day of his interview. But let's not talk about him now. I have better plans.

Me: Like?

P: Like continuing from where we left it the other day.

Aurora's POV

I was in the lab the entire afternoon and I was working on the serum for Angel. As I was testing on one of the feathers, it started changing color and blew up. Then I heard

Alex: OH! Crazy scientist, what are you doing over there?

Me: Nothing, it's just an experiment. Don't come closer.

Alex: Okay, I've seen Hank work. I'll wait here. –he said and waited outside the door. With my powers, I fixed the feather, put everything back in its place and went to him.

Me: What are you doing here?

Alex: What, that's my hello? Not even a kiss?

He put his hands on my waist. I smiled and kissed him.

Alex: That's more like it. I was thinking, maybe you'd like to go for a walk with me?

Me: I'd love to. What time?

Alex: Alex.

Me: Okay. Give me 20 minutes to change and I'm all yours.

Alex: You don't have to change. You're perfect the way you are.

He grabbed me and kissed me passionately. I took my lab coat off.

Me: Well, I'm ready then. Let's go before Logan shows up.

We laughed, he grabbed my hand and we left. We decided to go to the town square. After a while, we ended up face to face with Alicia and Pietro.

End of Aurora's POV

A: Well, of course you're going to be a killjoy again.

P: Let me guess, you must be Aurora.

A: And you are Pietro.

They shook hands.

Alex: And I am Alex.

Me: Of course you are. Where are you going?

Alex: Nowhere in particular. We are just walking around.

P: Would you like to join us, since we're not going anywhere in particular either?

Me: Yes, why not?

We walked together. On the street we saw a coffee shop and decided to go there. We talked about our powers, how we got them and how we met. Then we had to go back to the school. Before we got there, I talked to Alex.

Me: Don't talk to anyone about Pietro, and if you must speak about him, call him Max.

Alex: Okay, I'll be careful.

We arrived at the school and went back to our rooms.

Me: So, what are your first impressions?

A: Positive. He seems like a nice guy.

Me: And what happened with the serum?

A: I think I know what I did wrong and the experiment failed. Tomorrow I'll show you the research. Oh, a small explosion happened too, but you know how these things go.

Me: Okay. We'll work on it together tomorrow and hopefully finish it.

Then we went to sleep.
