Chapter 18

It wasn't long after the others left, that the "bad" guys appeared. Alex destroyed some of the weapons and I used my powers on them and then I heard a shot. A few inches before the bullet hit Alex, I stopped it.

Alex: Nice reflexes.

After a while, we were all in front of the shelter. Suddenly, the ground disappeared under Alex and when I caught him, it disappeared under me too. Angel caught Alex, and that way I had a free hand. That way I could make Aurora get closer to Wanda and help her, since she was weakened because of Rogue. Wanda was holding Aurora, Anna-Marie, Kitty and Bobby with her powers. Kurt took hold of Pietro and teleported the both of them to the ground. Then the ground appeared and the simulation was over.

The professor told us that we completed the mission. In the evening, we were all hanging out together. Xavier and Ororo, visited the Avengers to arrange Wanda and Pietro's transportation for tomorrow. The rest of the teachers were on a mission with Raven.

The professor left me, Aurora, Alex and Bobby in charge. When it was time to lock the school and tell everyone go to sleep, we did it smoothly. The hard part was convincing Kitty and Anna-Marie that they shouldn't throw a private party for our group of friends. In the end, Bobby was going to stay and watch the girls, while Pietro and I went in my room and Aurora and Alex went to his.

In the morning, Bobby and Alex were in charge of breakfast, so I didn't have to go downstairs. Pietro brought us breakfast in the room. After a while, we heard noise coming from outside. I went in the window and saw Bobby fighting with Pyro. Bobby turned into ice and Pyro threw fire at him. Bobby wouldn't have made in time, so I changed the course of the fire. Pietro put us both in our uniforms. We went downstairs and I saw Emma Frost.

EF (Emma Frost): Go and help with guarding the Cerebro and the serum.

Me: I was about to do it anyway.

EF: Someone is already with the serum and I sent Alex to Cerebro.

Me: Quicksilver, help Angel and Nightcrawler with transporting the kids, I have to go downstairs.

And that's what happened. I was about to open the lab's door when...

Pietro's POV

I did as Alicia told me and I helped with getting the kids to safety. As I did that I saw many fight scenes. My sister was dealing with Juggernaut, Anna-Marie was fighting with Valentine, Emma Frost with Sabretooth and Kitty with Psylocke and some other students were trying to help.

End of Pietro's POV

I saw Magneto and Polaris, Pietro's little sister, Laurna, who had the same powers as her father. They both attacked me. Magneto managed to escape and I had to deal with Polaris.

La (Laurna): You are useless, my father escaped.

Me: Or maybe I let him go, because I wanted to beat you faster.

We continued fighting. She took a metal rod and pinned me to the wall, covering my hands. I blew and threw her behind. I freed my hands and threw ice at her. I immobilized her by covering her in ice. I saw Magneto heading towards Cerebro. I left Laurna unconscious and went to Aurora.

Aurora's POV

I could hear the noise from outside and I was searching for a place to hide the serum, until I found a safe with no trace of metal on it, so I hid it there. I managed to put on my mask and then Magneto came in.

Eric: The way you look you remind me of Hank.

Me: Oh, you still remember the friends you betrayed I see!

I answered sarcastically.

Eric: And now you remind me of Logan.

Me: If you came here for chit chat let me get us some drinks, otherwise get out of our school.

Eric: I came for the serum.

He replied and threw the syringes from the desk towards me. I destroyed them.

Me: You are never going to get it!

I replied and destroyed the serum. He was furious and started attacking me, until I decided to let him "win", so he will leave. He hit me with a chair and I pretended to be unconscious. After I heard the door closing, I got up and put the rest of my uniform on.

End of Aurora's POV

Me: Are you okay?

A: I am fine. And so is the serum.

Me: Magneto went to Cerebro and Alex is there.

We headed towards Cerebro. 

When we walked in, we saw that Magneto had trapped Alex and then Pietro came in. I tried to free Alex, when he shot laser from his chest. Aurora grabbed my hand, because she understood that the laser was going to hit Cerebro, I looked at Pietro. In a split second Pietro took Aurora next to Alex. She hugged Alex in order to heal him, since he was close to the explosion. I limited the explosion in this room, by using my powers, and protected myself and Pietro. I saw Azaziel taking Magneto and disappearing. Then everything calmed down. 

We went outside. Everyone was back, we told them what happened and we fixed the damages. Aside from Wanda and Pietro, the professor took all of us to the Avengers. We met them and then came back to the academy, where we continued our everyday lives.
