I shook Robert and Alejandro's hands then looked at Mattia.

Y/n: Why was I being followed? Who was following me?

Mattia: Why you were bring followed I have no clue. But who I think he was a Prophet. Did he have a dollar sign tattoo somewhere?

Y/n: Yeah, but I'm not familliar with them.

Kairi: They don't like The Mafia King.

Y/n: The Mafia King?

Mattia: My father. Thats why your dad wants you to marry me, my father is the most powerful man in the city.

Y/n: So they what do they want with me
Mattia: I have no idea. But you won't be going to school anymore.

Y/n: What?! How am I supposed to graduate?!

Mattia: What were your plans after that? You won't need a thing after we are married.

Y/n: So I'm just supposed to accept the fact that I don't have a life anymore?!  I can't be a doctor?! You are going to keep me here untill I die?!

Mattia looked at me with a blank expression. Kairi looked at Mattia.

Kairi: Aye let's go.

The four of them left and I was left with Savannah.

Savannah had to go home because it's 9:30. Kairi walked into the room and sat next to me on the bed.

Kairi: Hey.

Y/n: Hi

He looked at me then at the floor.

Kairi: What is Mattia to you?

Y/n: Besides my fiancé? Nothing.

Kairi: Good.

Y/n: What do you mean by that?

Kairi: Mattia isn't the greatest guy. He has... issues.

Y/n: So, he isn't good at relationships?

Kairi: Yeah, he cheats, A LOT. Also he is kinda a big target for other gangs. So try not to catch feelings.

Y/n: Believe me I won't.

Kairi: Its almost like he enjoys breaking hearts.

Y/n: That's weird.

Kairi kept me company while while he was waiting for Mattia. Kairi and I talked a lot. I got to know him more. I learned a lot about Mattia and his family. Mattia walked in and he looked mad.
Y/n: Mattia, whats wrong?

Mattia: Nothing. Kairi I need to talk to you.
Mattia sounded annoyed.
Kairi: Alright.

They left and I was alone again.
After about 30 minutes I started to hear Mattia yelling.

Mattia: DON'T YOU EVER TOUCH HER AGAIN!

I heard the door slam and Mattia burst into "our" room.

Mattia: You kissed Kairi.

I looked at him blankly.
Y/n: He said to do it so that the man who was following me couldn't tell who I was.

Mattia looked at me and he grabbed my arm tightly.
Y/n: ow Mattia stop.

Mattia: I never want to see you alone with him. Do not talk, touch, or even look at him.
He squeezed my arm tighter.

Y/n: Mattia! Stop your hurting me.

He got in my face.
Mattia: Do you understand?

Y/n: Yes... Now let go...

He pushed me and let go. He left the room.

I got ready for bed and was going upstairs to get some water. I turned the doorknob and it was locked. I walked back down the stairs and layed on the bed. I thought about what Mattia said. Why should he care I'm not going to let him tell me what to do.
I fell asleep thinking about Kairi.

I woke up and felt arms around me. I sat up and saw Mattia. I pulled away and got dressed.

When I got back to Mattia's room he was gone. I texted Savannah to come pick me up. She got to the Polibio house and knocked on the door. I quickly rushed to get my sunglasses and purse. I bolted out the door and ran to Savannah's car.

Sannah: Damn y/n! Why you rushing?

Y/n: Get in and drive!

She got in and drove off. Once we were far from the house I felt like I could breathe again.
Sannah: So what's up?

Y/n: Mattia is crazy. When Kairi got to Cane's and saw the man who was looking for me he kissed me to make it look like we were a couple. And well... Mattia found out and flipped. He did this.

I showed her my arm where Mattia grabbed me. There was a bruise in the shape and size of Mattia's hand.

Sannah: Holy shit! Dude you have to tell your dad!

Y/n: Then take me home.

We got to my house and I walked to my dad's office. He looked at me with a smile and hugged me. I didn't hug back because I was still mad.

Y/n: Dad I can't marry him.

He looked down at me and his smile fadded.

Tony: Y/n I know you don't want to marry him but you have to. Thats it.

I pulled up my sleeve revealing the bruise.
Tony: Who did that?

Y/n: Mattia! He got mad and he got aggressive!

Tony: Why was he mad?

I hesitated. I told him the whole story at Cane's.

Tony: I'd be mad too.

Y/n: Dad...

Tony: The wedding is in less than a month. I suggest you find your fiancé and plan your wedding.

Y/n: NO! HE IS NOT MY FIANCÉ! I WON'T MARRY HIM!
Tony: DON'T MAKE THIS HARDER THAN IT HAS TO BE!

My dad never yelled at me. We stood in silence and he broke it.

Tony: Let me call Mattia he will come pick you up and you guys can talk it out.
I walked out of my dad's office and out the front door. I saw that Savannah left. I sat on the porch and texted Kairi.

me up from my dad's?

Kairi💙
Yeah, I'm close by
I'll be there in 5
minutes.
