Forced For Her Protection

[part 23]

*Kairi's POV *

I looked around the room and no one was hurt. It was a warning shot.

Kairi: Where is Mattia?!

Alvaro: Don't worry about him. Why didn't you tell me you added a new member. What happened to best friends don't have secrets?

Kairi: You broke that when you decided to try and kill me! You tried to kill all of us!

Alvaro: If I wanted you dead, you would be.

Ale: What do you want Alvaro?!

Alvaro: What? I can't see my friends? Comfort them when a friend passes?

Kairi: She didn't "pass" she was murdered!

Alvaro: Oh no how sad.

He said it sarcastically. It made my blood boil, but I know what he is capable of. I heard footsteps behind me and I pulled my gun out. It was Mattia.

Mattia: So, you're back.

Alvaro: I never left.

Mattia: Fuck you. Get out of here.

Alvaro: I just got here why would I leave? This was our place boys.

Robert: You are not one of us anymore!

Alvaro: Since when?! We are as close as blood!

Kairi: THEN YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE KILLED MY BLOOD!

Alvaro: You're still trippin about that. You are so weak.

Kairi: Lets see how you would be after I kill your sister.

Alvaro glanced at y/n. He smiled and  tried to walk towards her. Before he could pass me, I grabbed his arm and stopped him.

Kairi: You take, one more step, and I will kill you. It will not be quick.

Alvaro: Maiya's death was quick. I gave her that mercy.

I grabbed Alvaro by the collar of his shirt and pinned him on the wall.

Kairi: YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO SAY HER NAME!!

Alvaro: I have every right! I took her life. My eyes were the last eyes she ever saw.

I was about to swing at Alvaro but smoke bomb crashed through the window. I instantly jumped towards y/n and grabbed onto her. I felt the boys back up into a circle. Y/n was behind me and in the center of the circle.

*y/n's POV*

I was still processing everything. Kairi is scared of Alvaro because he killed his sister. There was smoke everywhere and I couldn't see. I was in the center of a circle of people. I was really hoping it was the boys. We waited for the smoke to clear and Alvaro was gone. Kairi yelled in frustration.

Kairi: We need to hide.

Mattia: No point. He always finds us.

Y/n: Okay by we still need a place to go.

Kairi walked up to me and hugged me tightly.

Kairi: Y/n, I love you so much, but sadly untill Alvaro has been delt with we have to stay separate. I'm so sorry but Alvaro is way too dangerous.

I was upset to hear that. t took 4 weeks, a month, to fund Cynthia. If Alvaro really is worse then it will take longer.

Y/n: Okay, if you think we will be safer then I will listen.

Kairi: I want you to stay with Mattia and Alejandro. Robert and I will be looking for Alvaro.

Y/n: ..... Okay.

Kairi: I'm sorry. It isn't fair that you have to be affected by this.

Y/n: It will be okay. I just wish you would have told me about your sister and Alvaro.

Kairi: I know and I was wrong to keep that from you.

I walked up to him and hugged him. He hugged me back and pulled away.
He left the cabin in a hurry and didn't say goodbye. I felt my heart ace, it felt empty. I'm going to miss him so much. Mattia put his arm over my shoulder and walked me to his car. Alejandro sat in the back of the car with me, leaving Mattia alone in the front seat.

Ale: I know everything is so sudden, but Kairi is scared Alvaro will kill you.

Y/n: He didn't say goodbye.

Ale: But if he said goodbye he would have changed his mind.

Y/n: What if Alvaro gets him? What if Kairi gets hurt? Or even Robert? What if one of you dies trying to protect me?!
I can handle myself! I don't want you two getting hurt!

Mattia: Don't talk like that! Alejandro and I will be fine, so will Kairi and Robert. He knows that you can protect yourself, but it makes him feel better if you aren't alone.

Y/n: Yeah... I miss him already....

*Kairi's POV *

When I hugged y/n I could feel myself wanting to change my mind and just stay with her. But she wouldn't be safe.  I quickly pulled away and left the cabin. Robert followed behind me. He drove back to our home and we packed a few things before leaving to a safehouse that was recently made, so that Alvaro wouldn't know where we were. Alvaro used to be one of Mattia's right hand man, but Alvaro went crazy one day and killed a lot of people including my sister and my mother.

Robert: We're here.

Robert pulled into a parking lot and we got out of the car and Robert stood still.

Kairi: What's wrong?

He pointed to the other side of the parking lot and Alvaro was standing on the opposite side of the parking lot. He slowly walked towards us and I felt a chill going down my spine. I don't know why, but I'm terrified of him.

Alvaro: You know that its rude to stalk someone.

Kairi: Yeah it is. So stay away from y/n.

Alvaro: I can't do that.

Kairi: Yes you can. Just turn around drive away and forget she ever existed.

Alvaro: You don't even know why I want her.

Kairi: Did I ask?

Alvaro: Fine, just know that she is keeping things from you.

Kairi: What the hell are you talking about?

Alvaro: Oh so now you want to ask?

Kairi: What the hell are you talking about!?

Alvaro: Her father is a backstabbing bitch. He doesn't care about anything else but that stupid Mafia.

Kairi: No! Tony loves y/n! He would never betray her or the Polibios'!

Alvaro: He betrayed her mother! I wouldn't doubt it if he kills you and y/n just to take over that empire that is resting on y/n and your shoulders.
