Forced For Her Protection

[part 27]

I could feel myself starting to hyperventilate. It was a panic attack. I started to be shook. My eyes slowly opened and I saw Kairi.

Kairi: Y/n!? Wake up! Everything is alright?

My breathing slowed down and I hugged Kairi and cried into his chest. He rubbed my back. The door opened and Anna walked in.

Anna: Y/n?! Are you okay?

I couldn't speak. I was terrified. Everything felt so real.

Y/n: Y-Yeah, I-I jus-t h-had a ba-ad dream.

Anna: Alright. I'll make you two breakfast. Oh Kairi, separate the beds before my mom gets here.

Anna left the room and once I calmed down Kairi moved the beds. Once he was done he sat back down in front of me and grabbed my hands.

Kairi: What happend in your nightmare?

I told him my nightmare and he looked confused.

Y/n: What's wrong.

Kairi: I had a dream similar to that. But no Mar and they were in the living room discussing everything.

Oh my god.

(If you don't understand Jamie and Alvaro did say everything that y/n heard. Kairi heard too but they were asleep so they dreamt everything that they said. But thats Jamie's plan to get back at Tony Mattia was right)

Kairi: What are we going to do?

Y/n: We need to talk to my dad.

Anna: You can't do that.

Kairi and I looked at the doorway. Anna was standing there alone with two plates of food.

Y/n: Anna, please, I don't want any of that to happen to my father. I don't want him to watch me fall apart. I don't want to watch my friends get ripped away from me.

Anna: .... I can't help you leave. But I can let you call your dad and get help.

Alvaro walked into the room. I assumed he heard everything.

Alvaro: Whats up guys? What are we doing today.

Thank god. He didn't hear.

Alvaro: Wait, y/n? Why are you crying?

Y/n: Oh I had a bad dream.

Alvaro: About what?

I decided to tell them about their niece or nephew.

Y/n: Grab your food then come here and I'll tell you who M-Mar is.

They came back. I started telling the story and Kairi held my hand. He had tears in his eyes. I told them the story. Alvaro looked genuinely sad. Anna was crying she moved Kairi out of the way and she hugged me tightly.

Anna: I'm so sorry. You two didn't deserve that.

She awkwardly patted Kairi's shoulder and moved back to her original position. Kairi looked pissed at Alvaro. Not so much Anna. I'm not sure whether she is trying to kill me or not.

Alvaro: Kairi, you good?

Kairi: Yeah I'm fine.

Alvaro: I know you man. Come on what's wrong?

Kairi: Its just the boys they are up my ass about where I am. Its honestly fucking annoying.

Kairi was a really good liar. I didn't know if I should be proud or scared.
The day went on and I hadn't seen my mother. It was almost time for dinner. Anna and Alvaro left the room and Kairi told be to wait. He got out his phone and went to his notes. He started typing and handed me his phone.

K: Idk when they are and aren't listening so if we need to talk about anything important about the 'situation' this is how we will talk.

Y: Alri one thing you will not leave my sight unless you are going to the bathroom alri?

K: Alri same goes with you

Y: alright.

Alvaro walked in and I went to Instagram and scrolled through the first profile I saw. It was Emily's profile before she died.

Alvaro: You miss her?

Y/n: Yeah, a lot.

Alvaro: I'm sorry.

Y/n: Its okay. Is dinner ready?

Alvaro: Yeah lets go.

We walked down stairs and I saw Jamie. She didn't look happy.

Y/n: Mama are you alright?

Jamie: No, your father was called. He has every man and woman he can get from his stupid Mafia looking for you and Kairi.

Kairi: Who told him?

Jamie: Mattia Polibio. Y/n's husband.

Y/n: God I really need to get some divorce papers.

The rest of the dinner was tence. I couldn't stop thinking about my mothers plan. Make me go insane? Kill her first born just to get back and the man who left her? If she wouldn't have left maybe my dad would have came back for her. We finnished dinner. I hugged everyone and told them goodnight. Kairi and I walked to our room and I grabbed his phone.

Y: we need to look at the basement and look around out without being seen.

K: Yeah but how? Who knows how late they stay up.

Y: You got me out of Mar's mansion you can sneak around with me.

K: Or you can stay here and I can do that so that they won't get suspicious if they walk in the room

Y: They will be more suspicious of you are gone then me.

K: I don't want anything to happen to you.

Y: They won't catch me. I don't want to be scared of loosing you again.

K: Okay, be careful.

Kairi moved the beds together again and we laid down untill the house was silent.  Kairi fell asleep. I slowly sat up and left the room, trying to make the least amount of noise possible. I made it down the stairs and I heard someone walking down. I hid around the corner and saw the figure of Anna walk passed me to the kitchen. I walked to where I thought the basement was in my dream and there was a door. I slowly turned the doorknob and walked into the darkness. I got to the bottom of the stairs and I could see very little. The room was lit up only from the moonlight coming from the windows, that were near the roof. Too far for me to reach. I saw the chains that Kairi was in in my dream. I heard tbe door open and I ran to my hiding place. I heard a small voice whisper from the top of the stairs.
