Everyone congratulated Kairi and I. I made a doctor's appointment because I would rather spend $10 on the bill at the doctor's office, than $20 for a pregnancy test. I got ready and was brushing my teeth. Kairi walked into the bathroom and stared at me.

Y/n: Whats up?

Kairi: What are we going to do if you are pregnant?

Y/n: What do you mean?

Kairi: Jamie is still out there doing god knows what, your dad has gone MIA. We don't have the safest family.

Y/n: You're right.... What are we going to do?

Kairi: There is only one option.

Y/n: DO NOT SAY WHAT I THINK YOU ARE GOING TO SAY! I LOST THE FIRST ONE I'M NOT GOING THROUGH THAT AGAIN!

Kairi: No babe, chill. I was going to say that we need to keep the baby a secret, so no Mafia meetings for you till the baby comes, IF, we have a baby on the way.

Y/n: God Kairi, you were about to make me kick you in the dick.

Kairi: Ouch.

We continued getting ready and drove to the doctors office. Once we got there we went straight to a examination room. The doctor asked basic questions, 'have you gotten symptoms? When were you last intimate? Did you use protection?' Those kinds of questions. Eventually the doctor had me give a urine sample. I gave it back and the doctor left.

Kairi: If we do have a baby, I want a girl.

Y/n: I want a boy.

Kairi: We will see. But I have a strong feeling that our next baby is going to be a girl.

Y/n: Okay Kairi, whatever you say.

After about 30 minutes of waiting the doctor finally came back with the results.

Doctor: I am happy to give you your results. You are pregnant!

Kairi let out a small squeal. He was smiling ear to ear. He grabbed my face and kissed my lips.

Kairi: Can we do an ultrasound?

Doctor: Yes but we will have to transfer you to another room.

They did just that and I pulled up my shirt exposing my stomach. The doctor put a cold gell on my stomach.

Kairi: Do you think we could see the gender or is it too soon?

Doctor: At the moment it will be too young to tell. But I will look and see. Do you want the gender to be a surprise?

Y/n: Yes.

Kairi: Fuck. I want to know now.

Y/n: Hush you can wait.

The doctor started moving the tool around my stomach and she pointed at the screen to see a small spot.

Kairi: Is that the baby?

Doctor: Yes. And I can tell the gender. Now I will request that you come in once a month for a ultrasound.

Y/n: Okay thank you so much.

She cleaned the gel and Kairi and I left the office. One I got to the car Kairi stopped me and spun me to face him.

Kairi: I love you so much.

Y/n: I love you too.

Kairi hugged me tightly and we stayed like that for what felt like 10 minutes. I pulled away and kissed him on the lips. Kairi's phone started ringing. It was Mattia.

*the call*

Kairi: Yo what's up?

Mattia: We found Jaime.

Kairi: What were was she?

Mattia: She was in your room. Looking for something.

Kairi: We will be home as soon as possible. See you then.

Mattja: Alright, see you then.

*end of call*

Y/n: What's wrong?

Kairi: Jamie was in our room. Mattia said she was looking for something.

Y/n: What the hell?

Kairi: Lets go home.

We drove back to the house. Anna and Alvaro were outside. I got out and hugged both of them. Anna looked scared.

Y/n: Anna? Whats wrong?

Anna: Who knows how long she was in there? She could have been there the whole time.

Y/n: No. She doesn't have that kind of patience. Everything will be okay. If it will make you feel better you guys can sleep in a different room.

Anna: Thank you y/n. I couldn't ask for a better big sister.

Y/n: No problem, I'm glad Alvaro found me.

They walked down to the basement and my smile instantly went away. I walked to the backyard and into the shed where Jamie was. Kairi followed close behind.

Y/n: What the fuck were you doing in my house?!

Jamie: I can't visit my children?

Y/n: You can't call us your children when you were willing to kill us to prove a point!

Jamie: So when were you going to tell me I'm a grandma?

I paused. How long has she been here? She knows about my baby...

Kairi: Our child won't know your name! You don't deserve the love from us or our child!

Jamie: I wasn't talking to you! Let me talk with my daughter.

Kairi: NO! I'm not leaving her alone with you!

Y/n: And you will not call me your daughter and I will never call you mom again. You are just as bad as Tony. No, worse. You are willing to kill me, my friends, and your own children, just to get back at him. What kind of life is that?

Jamie: The life that I chose when your father left me.

Y/n: He is no longer my father, and you have never been a real mother.

Jamie: Kairi how is your mother doing? Oh right, I'm sorry. I must have forgotten.

With those words my blood was boiling. With one punch I knocked her clean out. She has a glass jaw. Kairi looked hurt. I hugged him tightly and he began to cry.

Y/n: Shhh Its okay. Just because she isn't in front of you doesn't mean she isn't with you.

Kairi: Thank you y/n. I need to talk to my dad. I haven't since mom died.
