Being home was hard. But it was Sunday and I promised my little sister that I would spend the day with her. She obviously missed me even though my maa did not.

Surprisingly enough, she left me alone today. Maybe she saw how much Rabeya missed me.

Rabeya and I were playing Uno while our cat Oli snored on my lap.

Ra cleared her throat and spoke after a while.

"How is Leo?" She asked, I shrugged.

"He's busy mostly. With our finals coming up, a new boyfriend and his dad falling sick, he barely has time to breathe. Div, his boyfriend, helps him out a lot but it's still overwhelming for him." I said and she sighed, looking sad.

I remembered that she had a crush on Leo when she was little.

" Do you still have that huuuuuuuuuuuuge crush on him?" I mocked her and she stuck her tongue out at me.

"No. But I do miss him. He was a better teacher than you." She said and I pouted.

"So you begged me to come spend the day with you just so you can mope about my best friend and make fun of me?" I asked, pulling on her ponytail hard enough to make her head suddenly tilt to the side.

"Ow! Fucking asshole!" She screamed and threw her book at me, hitting me straight in the face.

And thus it began.

My phone rang when Ra was holding me down by my neck and sitting on my back as I frantically tried to reach for her to bring her down.

"Wait, Wait! Let me get the phone." I panted and she beamed.

"Loser!" She said before handing me my phone as I still panted on the floor.

"It's your lover boy." She said and I grimaced.

But seeing Sky's name on the screen made me smile.

"Hi babe!" I greeted as Ra made gagging sounds so I slapped her straight on her nose. That shut her up.

"Hey Fey. I'm sorry baby, I know you really wanted to spend time with Rabeya today but we have a situation." He said and I instantly sobered up.

"What happened?" I asked worriedly as Ra frowned at my tone.

"Uh... You remember my cousin Rudy?" He asked and I nodded but realised he couldn't see me so I voiced my answer.

"Yeah. Your dick uncle's dick son." I said and he sighed.

"Yes, him. So he came to Leo and Divit's apartment while I was out grocery shopping and he had a gun." He stated and I inhaled sharply, but he didn't give me a chance to speak.

"He was off drugs for two or more days, couldn't get his hand on anything because he ran out of money. He was spiralling and he pulled the trigger on D." I started speaking but he wasn't done. "He's okay. It's a muscle wound on the side of his stomach but Leo is furious." He finished.

"Well... Yeah.. He fucking should be. That bastard shot his boyfriend for fuck's sake!" I screamed and Ra gasped beside me.

"Yeah I know, I know. I'm angry too. But, he's still my cousin. He needs my help too." He said and my mouth fell open.

"You can't be serious. HE SHOT D!" I screamed and Ra frantically made hand gestures to ask me what was wrong but I just put up a hand to tell her to wait.

"I know babe, and I love D. I do. He makes my brother happy and I get your anger. But Rudy was going through withdrawal. I couldn't help him when he first got into drugs but I sure as fuck am not gonna leave him alone to rot in jail now. He needs help, and I have to help him, Kitten. You know I do." He pleaded and I sighed.
