(Chase P.O.V)

I wake up in an unfamiliar room confused for a moment before I realize where I am. I am in Christian's apartment. The conversation we shared last night comes rushing into my mind and I instantly blush. I can not believe I told him so many personal things about me in such a short moment. I'll blame it on me being so tired. Today is Sunday which means we both have the day off from both our jobs.

I lean back down on his couch and stare at the ceiling. Should I really try to get Christian to like me? If he doesn't it or can't would all this be worth risking our friendship? I would never be fully happy just being his friend but at least he would at least be in life. I would rather have him in my life one way than none at all. I really need to think about this before I just jump into it.

"Hey Chase." Christian says and I nearly jump out of my skin.

"God can't you make a noise or something!" I gasp.

"Hey! I said your name thats enough. What were you thinking so hard about anyways?" he asked.

"A business deal." I lie smoothly. Definitely not going to tell him I was thinking about him.

"Oh must be a stressful one." he says sitting down on the floor.

"Very. It's one I have to think very carefully on or I could loose the whole thing." I say and sigh.

"Hey. It'll all work out just fine. Just don't stress and let it all come together itself. Your smart." he says and smiles. I look down at him and smile too. He was right. Just let it all come together naturally and everything will work out.

Let us come togetger naturally and not over think it to much.

"Do you want to hang out today?" he asks.

"Sure. I have no plans and we have to do our bet." I grin at him. He moans and throws himself back againist the floor.

"God! I can't win. Fine. Sarah is working today and I only let her give me my piercings." he says seriously.

"Sarah who?" I ask him.

"Sarah Dayne." he says and glances up at me.

"Oh my gosh! Her! Ya'll were like the trio from hell. What about the other one. What was his name?" I ask.

"Josh. He moved away two years after we graduated with his boyfriend and they married. They adopted a baby girl and visit often. He works as a very successful chef now." he says and smiles.

"He sounds happy." I say.

"He is. Very. He deserves it too. His parents were'nt to accepting with his lifestyle choice. They were very religious and just couldn't accept him. It was always tense and akward in his house and he was ready to leave. Maybe someday they will love him for him and not his lifestyle. Right or wrong in their eyes. It's all he ever wanted from them but never got." he says and tears up a little.

"Maybe someday. Some people are just stuck in their ways and take longer to come around. Everyone believes differently and don't see love as love no matter what race or gender or sexuality you are. They see love as man and woman. Period. But he just has to be patient and hope. If they make him unhappy maybe it is for the best to keep distance." I say. He looks at me and just stares.

"You're right Chase. I just feel bad for him. But I see where you're coming from and you are right." he says and smiles.

"Do you want to shower and get ready to go? I have an extra tooth brush in my cabinet and the tooth paste is in the same place. Rags are on the towel rack over the toilet and so are the towels. Hurry up and I will cook us some eggs." he says and gets up to go to the kitchen.

After my shower and freshening up my mouth I make my way to the kitchen. A bowl of scrambled eggs sat on the table and Christian was already eating. He glances up at me and wiggles his fork at me. I laugh and sit down.

"Such a weirdo." I say. He gasps and fakes being hurt.

"As if you didn't already know." he says and finishes eating.

After he eats he leaves to go shower and gets dressed. I do the dishes and then sit on his couch and wait for him. Thirty minutes later he finally arrives.

"God took you long enough." I say and sigh.

"Beauty takes time Chase. Plus I couldn't find these pants and I really wanted to wear them." he says. I look down to see him wearing light blue ripped skinny jeans. Damn those look great on him.

"Those are cool." was all I said.

We walk to his tattoo shop where he works and the bell rang alerting someone walked in. A few seconds later an older man walked around the corner and smiled at Christian.

"You're off today Christian. Go home." he says.

"I am getting a surprise piercing. I lost a bet." he says and frowns.

"God Christian. What the hell. Do you have any open places for anything esle?" he asks.

"You know I'll make room old man." he says and laughs.

"What are we getting?" the man asks.

"He's getting a nipple piercing." I say and smirk at him. His eyes go wide and he just stares at me. His adams apple bobs up and down and he fills out the paper work. A few moments later a small girl with bright blue hair and tattoos filling her body walks out.

"Christian!" she squeals and hugs him tight.

"Sarah! I am here for my piercing. You remember Chase?" he says and gestures towards me. I stand there akwardly unsure of what to say. She looks at me up and down and finally grins.

"Hey Chase." she says and takes us to a small room in the back where everything was already layed out and ready. Christian takes off his shirt and lays down on the chair. I notice that his entire chest to ribs and his stomach was tattooed with dark black and grays. On his right rib was middle gray shawdow that represented a wall with a boy sitting againist it. The boy had his head between his legs elbows resting on his knees. It was beautiful. Undescribable. A black claw like hand came from his left rib casting a shawdow over the boy looking as if it was trying to grab him. Over his chest he had words written in fine cursive "As I walk in the Shadow of Death" and across his stomach "I Will Fear no Evil" it finished. And lower was small black birds surrounding the words. I wondered what this tattooed represented and the meaning behind it.

"You ready?" I heard Sarah say and paid attention to the task at hand.

"As I'll ever be. Lets just do it." Christian said and closed his eyes. Sarah grabbed her pinchers and did the left one first. Christian didn't make a sound. Just a low growl and clenched his fists.

"Last one." Sarah mumbled and did it. Instead of hoops he had small bars. It looked amazing on him and only made me want him more. It made me more possesive feeling than I already felt.

"There. Not so bad was it?" she said and smiled.

Christian looked at them in the mirror and smiled.

"I love them. Thank you Sarah. See you Tuesday. Say hi to your mom for me." he said.

"Sure thing. Bye guys." she said.

I paid for his piercing and we left the shop and went back to his apartment.

"You know you're next right?" he says.

"Oh please. I never loose bets." I say and smirk at him. For a moment we glared at each other.

"Want to bet? he says and continued to stare at me.

"Yes." was all I said.
