Jordan got out her key and unlocked the door to the apartment and swung open the door,
"So this is it," Jordan said letting Madison walk in first. "Bathroom right there and bedroom around the corner," Jordan said pointing to her right.
Madison looked around, taking in the place. There was a couch on the left by the door and a TV sitting on a wooden table in front of it. There was a coffee table in front of the couch too.
"How much of this stuff is yours?" Madison asked amazed at how nice it was compared to her silly dorm.
"So the place comes with the couch, coffee table, kitchen table, the chairs, the bed and the desk. The rest is mine."
"How did you pay for all of this stuff?" Madison asked.
"I mean I do have a job, and plus my internship paid really good money this summer. I bought a new car with the internship money too."
Madison walked into the kitchen and took a right around the corner and looked in the bedroom.
"Oh, I didn't clean in there, don't go in there."
Madison laughed, "It's fine, I'm your best friend, I don't care."
She walked in looking around, not minding the mess. The bed was unmade and there were some clothes laying on the floor. Jordan walked into the room and grabbed Madison by the waist and turned her around to the kitchen. Madison gasped at the contact, but followed Jordan's orders and walked out of the room. When they got out of the room Jordan let go and turned around to close the door. Madison quickly turned around when she let go. As Jordan turned back around she jumped at how close the girl was. Madison was looking up into her eyes. Jordan looked down at her not saying anything. Madison slowly grabbed Jordan's arms and placed them at her waist again. She stared at Jordan for a moment then leaned into the girl, wrapping her arms around her. Jordan was confused but happily embraced the girl in a hug. She moved her hands from the girls waist to around her back and pulled her closer. After a few moments they departed and Madison smiled at her,
"I love hugs," she said happily.
Jordan looked at the girl confused but happy, "Yea hugs are pretty great."
"You give really good hugs," Madison noted. "Do you like to cuddle?"
Jordan smiled, "Of course I like to cuddle."
"Okay good, we definitely have to cuddle tonight," Madison said smiling. She turned around breaking the eye contact and walked towards the table.
"So what meal did you decide to cook me?" Madison asked taking a seat at the table. Madison made Jordan surprise her with what she was going to make.
"So I decided to go with something that Austin, Kayla, and Olivia always ask for when they do come over. I'm making salisbury steaks."
"Ooh that sounds good, do you want help making it?" Madison asked with big eyes.
"Yea sure you can help. Just wash your hands first," Jordan said as she began pulling things to make the dish.
"Yea of course," Madison said walking into the bathroom to wash her hands. She casually started singing as she washed her hands. In the kitchen Jordan stopped as her ears perked up. She leaned against the counter looking out the window listening to the girl. She heard the water shut off, but her voice kept going and so Jordan stayed still. The girl walked out and continued singing as she looked out the window, not paying attention to anything. Jordan turned around, still leaning against the counter and stared at the girl, transfixed. Madison looked so beautiful as the evening light shined on her face. Madison finally looked over to Jordan and saw her staring.
