Jordan sat in the lobby of Madison's dormitory looking at her phone. It was finally the weekend everyone was moving back onto campus for classes. As Jordan sat in the lobby, other people walked in and embraced one another as they saw each other for the first time since winter break started. Students carried clothes and other equipment back into their dorms. Jordan looked at the time and sighed heavily, she just wanted to see Madison.

Just then, a squeal came from the doorway. Jordan stood up instantly, recognizing it. Madison ran and jumped into Jordan's arms as Jordan spun the girl around in a hug. Madison pulled away and looked down into Jordan's face with a big smile.

"Hey Jordan," a masculine voice came from beside the two. Jordan looked over and saw one of the guys from the team.

"Oh sup," Jordan said casually. Madison looked over in his direction observing him. He was helping a girl carry some things into the dorms. Those two turned away and laughed to one another. Jordan looked back at Madison. Madison was staring at the two still. Her smile had faded.

"I'm so happy to see you," Jordan said.

Madison finally turned back around and slipped out of Jordan's arms. She smiled slightly, seeming bothered by something, "Yea me too."

"What's wrong?" Jordan asked.

Madison gave a smile," Nothing."

Madison sat at the end of the couch picking something to watch. She turned something on and then began crawling up into Jordan's arms. Jordan smiled and put her hands on the girl's waist as she crawled up. Madison stopped and stared down into Jordan's eyes.

"What's that face for?" Jordan asked. She moved her hand up and tucked some hair behind Madison's ear.

Madison's smiled slightly, "Nothing."

Jordan frowned, "I know that's not true."

Madison stared at Jordan for a moment, "When that guy said hi to you, did you notice anything?"

Jordan looked confused and shook her head, "No."

Madison stared at Jordan.

"Why did you?" Jordan asked back.

Madison shook her head and laid down onto Jordan's chest. Jordan felt that she was lying. But didn't want to keep pushing. She wrapped her arms around the girl and held her tightly, sensing the girl was upset. Madison sighed and stared at the TV.

Jordan sat down at the dining hall table for lunch.

"Hey Jordan," Kayla said smiling. "How was your break?"

Jordan smiled, "It was pretty good, how was yours?"

"It was good."

Natalie walked over to the table and set down a plate of food, "Hey guys."

The table greeted her.

"So some little bird told me you met Madison's parents," Natalie said to Jordan.

The table all looked over at Jordan who blushed and looked down, "Yea I did."

"How was it?" Natalie asked putting some food into her mouth.

"Uhh..." Jordan adjusted the snapback on her head, "It was good."

"Did they like you?" Austin asked.

Natalie laughed, "Of course they liked her. She's a catch."

Jordan rolled her eyes, "Whatever." Jordan was quiet for a moment, "But yea, I seemed to be up to their standards."
