Madison😘 wants to FaceTime...

Jordan picked up her phone and swiped it open.

"Hey," Jordan said smiling.

"Hey," Madison said back. "I need you to tell me how this song I've been practicing sounds."

Jordan laughed, "Okay, hit me."

Madison adjusted her phone so she could read her music and began playing. Jordan sat and listened as Madison's hands glided across the keys. She began singing as she played along. Jordan smiled as Madison closed her eyes, singing passionately. Jordan had missed her singing voice. She listened carefully to the piece and to the words. When Madison was done she opened her eyes and looked at Jordan.

"How was that?" She asked.

"It was beautiful," Jordan said with a smile. "Always is."

Madison blushed and rolled her eyes, "Please, you've heard me hit wrong notes before."

"Yea, but it still sounds good. You always fix it until it's perfect."

Madison smiled and picked up her phone and headed to her room.

"So what have you been up to today?" Madison asked as she closed her door.

"Oh nothing much, just watching TV. I was gonna head over to the rink later, but I don't know if I want to anymore."

"Why not?" Madison asked.

Jordan sighed and smiled, "I think I'd rather stay and talk to you."

Madison blushed.

A few hours later Jordan was laying in bed with her phone still open on FaceTime. Madison had fallen asleep. Jordan swiped off the app and checked the time they had been FaceTiming. It was at six hours. Jordan smiled and opened the app back up again.

It was the final game of winter break before everyone would be on campus. Luckily for Jordan it was a home game. She sat with her team as they all joked and laughed. Austin walked in and slapped her on the back, "You ready Brown?" He asked enthusiastically.

"Always am," Jordan replied.

"That's the spirit!" Austin said as he went to sit with some other friends.

Jordan leaned her head against the wall behind her, looking in the usual spot that everyone sat in. It had been empty too often this break for Jordan's liking. She didn't know why, but she always looked up and hoped to see Madison, even when she knew the girl couldn't come to the game. Jordan sighed and closed her eyes for a moment.

"Jordan!" A familiar voice came from behind her.

Jordan's ears perked up instantly and she turned around smiling, "Madison! What are you doing here?"

Madison reached her hand down to Jordan and Jordan grabbed it, "I'm spending the night with you tonight!"

Jordan got confused, but excited, "Since when?"

Madison laughed, "I've been planning this all break!"

"Why didn't you tell me?" Jordan asked.

"I wanted it to be a surprise!" Madison said smiling.

"Jordan! You ready?" Coach called.

"Good luck!" Madison called and pulled her hand away. Jordan turned around, putting her gear on, and got onto the ice.

After another win Jordan was in the locker room taking off her gear when she heard the door open up.
