The first week of October was coming to a close. It was Friday and everyone was getting settled after classes. Some students were packing things to go home for the weekend, while others were arranging party plans.

Emma walked into the dining hall and sat her plate down.

"Where's Madison?" Emma asked curiously.

Natalie and Katherine looked around at one another wondering who would say.

Natalie spoke up, "She's having a sleepover with Jordan."

The girls looked to Emma for reaction. Emma's eyes widened upon hearing the news.

"She said they're going out to dinner at Dishe," Katherine followed up. Emma's eyes widened again and she sat her stuff down.

Meanwhile in the dorm bathroom, Madison was getting her makeup ready. She was already running a little bit behind, but she refused to go out without putting on makeup. Madison didn't know why, perhaps it was the fancy restaurant she knew she'd be going to, but she felt the need to put on extra makeup. She even straightened her hair to make it look nicer tonight. As she was putting the finishing touches on her makeup her phone started ringing.

Jordan🥰🏒 is calling...

"Hello?" Madison answered.

"Hey where are you? I'm in the lobby waiting," came Jordan's voice.

"Oh sorry! I'm finishing up my makeup. I'll be down soon!"

Jordan laughed, "You know you don't need makeup right?"

Madison scoffed, "Trust me, I look better with it!"

Sighing, Jordan said, "Alright well I'll be here when you're ready."

"Sounds good! Talk soon!" Madison hung up and went back to doing her eye makeup.

After putting on the final touches, Madison grabbed her backpack of things and walked down to the lobby. Jordan was sitting on a chair looking at her phone.

Madison squealed upon seeing the girl, "You look so good!"

Jordan stood up immediately and blushed looking the other girl up and down. Jordan was wearing such an average outfit on her opinion. It was a pretty warm day for the start of October so Jordan was wearing khaki shorts and a blue plaid button up shirt. Meanwhile Madison was wearing a short, black skirt and white blouse. Jordan smirked upon seeing the outfit. It was the same outfit she wore at her first singing assessment. Her makeup also looked incredible. She had definitely gone all out for this date thing.

"You're wearing the same outfit I first saw you in," Jordan said.

Madison smiled a devious smile, "I know."

Jordan laughed at her, "Cmon let's go back to my apartment and set your things down, then we can head to Dishe, we don't want to be late for our reservations."

Madison gasped, "You got reservations?"

"Of course I did! It's Friday night and I knew we'd need them."

"You're so smart," Madison said almost swooning.

The two girls departed from the lobby and walked down the path towards the University apartments. The truth was, they wouldn't be late. Jordan purposely made the reservation a few minutes late, knowing Madison was always a little late from doing her makeup. The walk wasn't too far luckily, and the restaurant was even closer to the apartments than the dorm rooms.

Madison walked in and headed toward the bedroom. She set her things down on Jordan's bed, which was actually made this time. Madison smiled and wondered if Jordan had made it specially for this. The two girls departed and chatted about things they had to do the next week as they walked down the sidewalk. As they approached the restaurant there was a crowd standing outside.
