"We were so wonderful, and the children loved us, and even gave us drawings they had made for us, which we would happily hang on the walls by the stage and near the entrance."
"One day, the owner had sold us to a company called Fazbear Entertainment. They added newer, more colorful animatronics to our diner. Of course, they were in a side room, as to not be the main attraction, yet all the children wanted to see them more. Fredbear was worried they would replace us, but I reassured him that we would stay. But soon, we had no children running through our room, no new drawings, and no audience."
"I grew worried too, but Fredbear had consoled me, explaining how there was a party in a few days, in our room. I was excited to find out that a child had still loved us. "Tomorrow is a new day" he would say. But the day of the party was not as I had expected."
"It was a young boy, maybe around eight or nine, and although he seemed to like us, he seemed to be scared of something. He would look paranoid, like something was out to get him. We didn't mind it though, we just kept playing our tunes."
"Later in the party, we noticed the little boy being surrounded by four older boys, all wearing masks of the new animatronics. He seemed frightened, so I looked over to Fredbear. He wasn't paying any mind to the boys, so focused in the song we were playing. I couldn't stop to tell him out of fear of being punished for not performing correctly."
"The boy was crying. The older children were scaring him, though I couldn't hear what the were saying. They were laughing though, by the look of it. Then, a couple of the older ones picked him up and began approaching us. He was still crying, panicking as he came nearer. I didn't have a clue what was going on."
"Michael please stop! Please!!"
"What's that?"
"I think he said he wants to give Fredbear a kiss!"
"You wanna get a closer look? Well little man, if you say so!"
"No no no! Please brother let me go!"
"I looked to Fredbear, but he was so focused on the song that he didn't even register they were close. I was scared."
"The boys hoisted the little boy up to Fredbear as they had said. He wasn't paying attention, even though the boy was still screaming for Michael to let him go."
"Michael no! I'm scared!"
"You're always scared!"
"Michael I dont like this!"
"Brother please!"
"They put the boys face inches away from Fredbear's mouth."
"Almost there!"
"Michael, stop!"
"His head was in Fredbear's mouth. I stopped singing, too scared of the scene in front of me to continue."
"Michael!! I'm sca--!"
*Crunch*
"Fredbear stopped. He didn't dare look down. He just looked straight ahead, frozen."
"There was screaming. The restaurant was in panic, running, screaming, grabbing their children. I couldn't move. There was blood on my face and shoulder, but that was nothing compared to Fredbear. It was everywhere."
"I could hear him choke back a gag, unmoving. If he could cry, I knew tears would be pouring down his golden cheeks. He knew it was over for us. He looked over to me, shaking and flooded with terror."
"F-Fredbear, I--"
"My vision went black. They had powered me off."
"I found out we were being withdrawn from the show, and Fredbear's would close down for good. They were keeping the other four however, making a new Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, leaving us in the saferoom, never to be used again."
"I was trapped in that room for so long, shut down and forgotten, that is, until some people found me."
"I was withered and rotted, but they were excited to see me. I thought that maybe they would fix me up and turn me back on, but they never did. I was confused, until they brought me here, then I realized my purpose to them."
"I was destined to be a horror attraction prop until my endoskeleton could no longer function, and I could no longer move," his raspy british accent returned.
"That wasnt what I wanted, I wouldn't have that life. So I devised a plan to escape. Until I met you of course. When I woke up to see you caring for my suit, I knew there was something about you, something special, that I just couldn't let go."
"But now that you see I'm no longer the loving character I once was, you're scared of me, terrified even. I know you won't help me, so I figured you as no use to me. But I wasn't lying when I said I was bored. You can imagine such when locked in a room, unable to move or speak for almost thirty years."
You were beginning to feel sorry for Springtrap. All he ever wanted was to make people happy, same as Fredbear, but their lives were cut short by an accident that wasn't even their fault. Even though he was currently hunting you, you want to try and help him. He said I was no use because I was scared.. What does he need me for?
You sat in silence, the only music being his hard metal feet against the floor. He was walking slower, calmer. The footsteps stop.
"You know, I used to be able to play a little song from my suit. Perhaps it still works," he says calmly. You hear a tiny click, and a music box starts playing. "I called it Bonnie's Lullaby. It used to make the crying children hush, and the scared children calm."
The melody was indeed calming you, making you tired even. You check the time.
1:06am. His story was time consuming, but not enough. You didn't know how long until he found you, but you weren't worried much anymore. He seemed calmer, which meant less violent, and that's good. You could feel yourself drifting the longer you listened.
It was such a sweet lullaby, easing your mind as the wicked game of hide and seek carried on. You did wonder why he had named it Bonnie's lullaby, but then again, 'Springtrap' was a pretty odd name for a child entertainer.
Thump, thump, thump. His tread soft and leisurely. Your body began to doze off against your common sense. Your eyelids fluttering shut as sleep came to consume you.
*Bang*
Your eyes burst open at the sound of your box being assaulted. You stick close to the bottom as the top had been struck by something.
*Crack*
"I found you~"
